Wellfleet is approximately 2 miles across from Bay to Ocean with a multitude of beaches, both ocean and bay including Cahoon Hollow, White Crest, Newcomb Hollow and Mayo Beach. In addition, there are many freshwater kettle ponds to swim in which are especially good for the kiddies. Great Pond and Gull Pond are a short distance away from my house. Wonderful seafood is available at many restaurants with water views and art galleries galore - even at the end of my street Somerset Ave. Fresh fish stores are also nearby to cook your seafood and enjoy!
