Great old-fashioned Cape house with some handy upgrades. The living area feels spacious and open, especially with the large screened-in porch connected. Plenty of flexible options for sleeping quarters - could be great for a big family. No AC, but with open windows and ceiling fans in every room you don't miss it. Nice sunny yard, lots of good spots to sit and enjoy the breeze. It's a short walk to the local beach (small harbor beach with calm water and clean sand, seems like a good spot for young kids especially). Also a nice neighborhood for taking walks in general, not a lot of traffic. Enjoyed staying here for a short family getaway. show more show less

This classic home was perfect for an escape to the Cape! The home is lovely and the beach is just a few steps away. Great location for exploring more of the Cape or relaxing on the very pleasant porch--my favorite thing to do. Activities and shopping are just a few minutes away and there is no lack of classic New England food nearby. I plan to visit again this summer! I had a great time; you will too...

Our stay at this fabulous house provided the relaxation I needed and the fun that my teenage son and his friend wanted. We did activities together, including mini golf and the movies that were within close driving distance. But we also had separate time, when I sat on the porch reading while the boys rode their bikes, spent time at the beach, played basketball at the nearby courts, and even had dinner on their own at the local pizza place. The most difficult thing for me was deciding between the rocking chairs on the open porch or the wicker furniture in the enclosed porch. At night we gathered in the large dining room for dinner and cards, and in the expansive living room for movies. The beach was a quick walk for enjoyment any time of day.
