    First time to Cape Cod
    October 2024

We have always wanted to visit Cape Cod and I don't think we could have picked a better property. The house was beautiful inside and out with private beach, paddle boards and a kayak. Sitting on the deck watching the sunrise was incredible, so peaceful. Easy to get around to all the local spots and see the sights. The family and I had a wonderful time and plan on coming back. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away, you won't be disappointed.

We couldn't have imagined a better place for a long weekend getaway. The views, the toys, the access. Lots of space, very comfortable beds, places to spread out with friends, and direct access to the water. It was a perfect place to make lifetime memories with our family and friends! And the hosts were extremely caring and responsive.

    Absolute Dream!
    November 2024

Staying at this Cape Cod beachfront home was unforgettable! We arrived at night, so we didn't see the amazing views until morning. The ocean views were breathtaking, and waking up to the sound of waves was pure bliss. The home was light, airy, and perfectly equipped, with beach access just steps away—ideal for morning walks and sunset views. We made so many wonderful family memories here. One of my favorites was when everyone was clam raking together!

Nearby, we enjoyed charming shops and fantastic seafood at Martha's Vineyard. It was a quick ferry trip nearby. The hosts were wonderful, providing great recommendations. This place offers the perfect mix of relaxation and Cape Cod charm. We can't wait to return! show more show less

Perfect Family Getaway on Cape Cod's Waterfront
    October 2024

We had the perfect family getaway in Cape Cod! This waterfront property was a dream, especially with the private beach and deep-water dock. Our kids loved fishing and exploring marine life right along the shore. The sunrise views over Waquoit Bay were impressive, and the peacefulness of the area made each day special. The house had everything we needed—kayaks, clam rakes, even a telescope! Cozy yet spacious, with beautiful water views, it was so easy to relax here. We felt right at home and can't wait to come back! show more show less

Beautiful scenery and stunning sunrise on the cape. The view from the house is incredible looking out on Waquoit Bay. Lots of marine life to view. Perfect
    November 2024

Everything was perfect. The House is beautiful. We loved the stylish decor, comfy beds, huge den sectional and amazing view. There's a really great deck that leads right to the water. We fished off the dock, kyaked, swam and clammed in our private lake area. There's even a small sandy beach strip right off the water's edge where the kids played. We watched the sunset over the water and karoked into the night. This is truly a special property- get it- you won't regret it.

My family of four (my wife and I(47) and our boys 12 and 15 did a nice week in June. The property is stunning , private beach , cool raft to swim to and sunbathe or play king of the raft and a ton of fun water toys. My favorite was the paddle board and my wife loved the kayaks. Our morning routine was a cup of coffee and a trip through the oyster farms a stone throw from the property! You can't touch and farm but to check the locals in action is priceless. The houses were so much fun, one for the boys in the back and the main house we had to ourselves! Clearly the owners have style as the design and cool furniture was appropriately themed. Don't miss this gem as we now have our favorite cape spot! show more show less

I'm an interior designer, and have loved bringing this house to life in fun ways! Gave it a midcentury modern vibe, and filled it with things that have history and stories. We recently added it to WNAV, but you can read the reviews from folks who have stayed here on just how fun of a spot it is. We love our Cape house, and hope it brings you and your family as much joy as it has to our family.

The dining table used to be black granite, but I commissioned Falmouth artist Ben Stadelmaier (kitesurfing is his true passion) to paint it to reflect the beach and water views from the house. It's amazing that he came in with some cans of spray paint, a heat gun and epoxy -- and was able to transform that boring black granite table into a work of art that looks just like our beach!

Most of the art throughout the house was painted by high school students who were part of Artists For Humanity. This Boston-based nonprofit is near and dear to my heart, and it changes the lives of inner city under-resourced teens through after-school and summer employment, mentorship, college readiness assistance and career pathway training.

I also tried to use Etsy to find craftspeople and artisans who made most of the art & decor you'll find around the house. Many of the vintage items are from Home Again, a wonderful consignment store in Falmouth that is usually filled with interesting and charming antiques.

I hope you'll take time to explore, discover and enjoy the inside as well as outside.

What is special about this property?
This home was built in the 1930's, and still has its old world and classic Cape Cod charm. The oyster shell driveway is nostalgic, and the home is an easy place to be -- not too shiny or fussy, where kids can come in with sand from the beach on their feet and still wet from swimming in the bay.

You don't have to go anywhere to have fun since the house has a private beach -- raking for clams is always exciting (then making clam chowdah!), fishing from the dock, swimming, standup paddleboarding, kayaking, or going out in the pedal boat. The large yard is also great for throwing a frisbee, football, kicking a soccer ball, or some slammo/spikeball.

It's also fun to watch the oyster pots across the way, as they get tended to almost on a daily basis.

What is special about your town?
Falmouth is an easy drive from the Boston area, just over an hour and easy to get to. It's a year-round town -- which means there are always places open for groceries, dining out, or entertainment. A lot of folks grew up here, so there's tons of stories and history and character. The Falmouth Road Race brings a national crowd every year too. Falmouth also has the Island Queen Ferry over to Martha's Vineyard, a shorter drive than to Woods Hole for the Steamship Authority or Vineyard Ferries.
