If you love Wellfleet or if you're looking for the perfect spot to experience all the best of the Cape, Lennie's home is the place. First, you absolutely cannot beat the location. Easy access to 6, and therefore all of the Cape. But Wellfleet specific? Great Pond is less than a mile, Dyer Pond is a nice morning walk. The ocean and the famous Beachcomber is under 2 miles. Plenty of restaurants, art galleries, the bike trail, kayaking, mini-golf, P-town, the little island across from the walking bridge…it's all a quick bike/hike/drive away. OR…if you want to relax and read a book in the quiet, the house itself is full of cool little spots, a deck w birds coming and going, comfortable beds, and plenty of space for a family or even two! The house has a unique and really interesting layout with a collection of eclectic decor … a really beautiful place. We just loved it and any time we return, this will be the first spot I call.

What a lovely home for a vacation get-a-away. A lot of details were attended to. The space was bright and fun! The outside deck was peaceful and a great location for bird watching. The kitchen was fully stocked with those little extras that make cooking easier. We walked to the lake, walked to JP's on the corner for a seafood dinner and spent alot of time in Wellfleet. This was one of the most relaxing cape houses that we've ever rented. We were a party of 5 and there is plenty of room for all of our needs. The pictures are a bit deceiving because it is a lot more attractive and spacious than they can convey. The house was not cluttered with stuff, so we had plenty of room for our stuff and we didn't have to move much of anything because of the 5-year old. The furnishing were good quality, very comfortable and well thought out. The kitchen had everything we needed and was easy to work in. It was a very private and peaceful place even though we were in a neighborhood. It is a great location. It is surrounded by the beautiful national seashore and feels so much like the cape. Our go-to spot was on the large outdoor deck, chilling in very comfy deck furniture watching the birds at the feeder. Our second go-to place was an evening stroll for ice cream! We accessed the ponds almost every day in Wellfleet, on foot, and by car or bike. We would highly recommend this rental if you want to feel like you are on vacation or just need a romantic getaway. show more show less

I had the pleasure of renting this most charming house for two weeks. The house is situated in the woods surrounded by all kinds of foliage. It is walking distance between great ponds and the old whaling town of Wellfleet. The gorgeous beaches are a short drive away.

The house itself is filled with light and good vibes. The bedrooms are large and comfortable . There are two living areas which provide nighttime entertainment as well as enjoyment. The kitchen has a long counter which provides the space for intimate dining.

The deck outside offers you the ability to watch a variety of birds, including wild turkeys as well as an occasional fox. It truly is heaven......the only bad part of our two weeks is that we had to leave. show more show less
