This lovingly renovated and restored four-bedroom property is the meeting point of historic charm and modern convenience. Only 0.1 mi to the Paine Hollow Town Landing, this wonderful home is set on a beautiful lot with a nicely manicured lawn with colorful gardens. The property consists of a three-bedroom main house with a one-bed cottage.

THE MAIN HOUSE

The first floor of the main house has a well-equipped kitchen with stainless appliances. There is a separate dining room with large table and chairs, a comfy sitting room perfect for lounging and conversation, a living room with comfortable sofas and flat screen TV with with cable and Roku (stream additional content with your own accounts) and a sitting room with comfortable seating. Plenty of space for everyone. There is also a bathroom with tub and shower on this floor along with a separate laundry room/pantry.

Climb the captain's stairs to the second floor where there are three bedrooms--the master bedroom with a queen bed, a second bedroom with a full (double) bed and a third bedroom with one full (double) bed and two twin beds. All three bedrooms have window air conditioner units. There is also a full bathroom with a custom tile and glass shower.

This historic home--listed on the US National Register of Historic Places--is one of the oldest homes in the area. The house is officially dated to 1790, but the owners found evidence during their renovations that the home may date as far back as 1750. With the exception of the kitchen and bathroom floors, the original King's Pine 12'' wide floor planks are intact. There are exposed ceiling beams in the front sitting room and four beautiful fireplaces (all non-working).

The main house has a generator.

THE COTTAGE

The one-bedroom cottage on the property has a first floor open concept living room and kitchen. The living room has a sofa and flat screen TV with Roku (stream content with your own accounts). The kitchen is well-equipped with a stove, full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. There is a full bathroom with tub and shower. A staircase leads to the open second floor bedroom with a queen bed and a day bed. A privacy wall separates the two beds. Note: New PHOTOS Will Be Posted As Soon As Available. The second floor is open and bright with skylights and a vaulted ceiling. The cottage has two ductless split unit air conditioners (one on the first floor, one on the second floor).

THE GROUNDS

Enjoy the beautiful yard and two patios. The house patio has a gas grill, six Adirondack chairs and two loungers and the cottage patio has a picnic table. There is also an enclosed outdoor shower on the side of the cottage.

This wonderful property is only 0.1 mi to the Paine Hollow Town Landing--a great place to launch your kayak. Enjoy exploring the conservation trails at Fox Island Marsh and the Pilgrim Spring Conservation Area. Just a short ride to the best of Wellfleet--the town's fresh water ponds, bay and ocean beaches, the Cape Cod Rail Trail, the town center and harbor for restaurants, shops and galleries, the Wellfleet Farmers Market, golfing, Cape Cod National Seashore beaches, sites and trails and live shows at WHAT (Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater) and Wellfleet Preservation Hall.
