Originally used as a year round home and pre-school, this fully furnished 5 bedroom home is situated on an acre of bayside land. The two story, 2 wing home allows for privacy between upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs bedroom with 2 double beds also used as yoga or studio space, small single bedroom and spectacular master bedroom; upstairs double bedroom with skylight and loft for additional sleeping, twin bedroom, dining room and study area. beach or pond.Play board games in front of the fire and entertain inside or in enclosed playground area outside. Aesthetically pleasing original art work on the walls, shelves of fiction and non-fiction to choose from.
Our house is very accessible to route 6 and yet uniquely situated to be sheltered from the sounds of traffic. Ironically, a number of other houses which are actually farther off Route 6 on the Bay seem to be much more affected by car noise coming across the marsh. Our house noises are the wind off the Bay and the birds. The only moderate traffic sounds are heard from the parking area which is a distance from the “front” door and separated by a fence.
