This newer, luxury, saltwaterfront home has spectacular water views from all rooms (Chatham village, Oyster Pond River, Nantucket Sound). Situated on a bluff, stairs lead to 100 feet of private sandy beach and private boat dock, Fish, collect shells on the beach, swim, or watch pleasure boats travel up and down the Oyster Pond River, a saltwater Nantucket Sound inlet. Your own boat may be docked conveniently in front of the home in preparation for a voyage to Nantucket or the waters surrounding Chatham.

The open floor plan features many windows and french doors to a large terrace overlooking the water for outdoor entertaining. Beautifully finished hardwood floors are complimented by traditional furnishings. Dining is a pleasure at the huge 72 inch round table with 8 chairs. A state of the art kitchen features Woodmode Cherry cabinets, honed granite countertops, huge island seating for 4, Viking dual fuel commercial range with commercial hood, Kitchen Aid side by side refrigerator with filtered water and ice on the door, Bosch dishwasher, built in GE microwave and pantry with roll out drawers.

Two fireplaces are available for cool evenings, one located in the living room and the other in the den with hand crafted cabinetry surround and TV with DVD as well as WiFi. A powder room with stone and shell floor and pedestal sink completes the first floor.

On the second floor there are 4 spacious sleeping accommodations - the 4th room is a huge upstairs Family Room with sleep sofas... see pictures. There are 3 baths (2 en suite) and a conveniently located laundry. The home has 3-zone heat and 2 zone central air conditioning, ceiling fans in living room, den, all bedrooms and family room. 2 car attached garage, walk out lower level with pool table; and outdoor shower, useful when returning from the beach. Additionally, beach towels, beach chairs and beach toys are provided.

This extraordinary home encourages its guests to relax in a grand way, whether on the private beach, terrace or in the home itself.

The private neighborhood is ideal for biking, morning walks and evening strolls. Less than a mile away is one of the loveliest beaches in Chatham....Hardings Beach. Hardings Beach was ranked by National Geographic Traveler as one of the top 10 NATIONWIDE ''Best Beaches for Families''.Its pristine white sandy beach is over a mile long, with lifeguards and ample parking.

Chatham is a wonderful place for both adults and children with special memories created by visits to the Friday night band concerts, excursions to the fish pier and lighthouse, and boat trips to see the harbor seals. There is a 4.5 mile bike trail, as well. For those interested in baseball, the Chatham A's are part of the cape cod baseball league, and games are held at the baseball field in town. Chatham has managed to preserve the flavor of a small New England town. Main Street is lined with specialty shops, historical buildings, art galleries, elegant inns and wonderful restaurants.We vacationed here with our children every summer while they were growing up ,and now, together with our children and grandchildren, we are all enjoying this wonderful town.
