Welcome to Castlerea! Located in a private Chatham neighborhood and having direct water access to Mill Creek which flows to Taylor's Pond in one direction and the Nantucket Sound in the other, water enthusiasts of all kinds will fall in love with this home! Whether you want to spend time kayaking or just enjoy an unobstructed bird's eye view from the multiple levels of decking - this home offers the opportunity for everyone to enjoy all of the charms of a Cape Cod experience. Additionally providing central AC, water sport equipment, plenty of parking and three floors of living, this is the perfect space for a multigenerational family vacation! 

About This Home:
Enter through the side door off of the large driveway and you will be greeted with the ideal components of a ''mud room'' - a full bathroom with shower, Bathroom #1, on the right and a laundry room on the left. This convenient ''drop'' area opens into the large kitchen which overlooks the adjoining dining area, sitting room after that and views through the windows and sliding glass doors to the deck and beyond. The kitchen offers everything you will need for your vacation including a rolling cart that acts as an island, a serving cart or additional preparation space. At the end of the kitchen is the dining table with seating for eight and the convenient nearby seating area where the furniture faces the stunning view. Adjoining this seating area to the right is the living room with large flat screen TV and comfortable seating for everyone to gather. For those limiting their screen time, take advantage of the oversized chair in the corner which welcomes you to read a book.

The living room will bring you around to the formal front door which is across from the bottom of the stairs to the second level and near Bedroom #1. This main level Primary bedroom offers a Queen bed, an en suite full bathroom, Bathroom #3, and also access to the full bathroom that you first encountered which is across from the laundry room. The convenience and flow of this home befits the continuous movement of family life!

At the top of the stairs, you find Bathroom #2 which is a full bathroom offering extended space to be utilized by the many guests occupying the second floor! To your left is oversized Bedroom #2 which is perfect for siblings, cousins or close friends/family to all stay together. There is one Full bed, one Queen bed, two Twin beds and storage room for everyone!

On the other side of the second level is Bedroom #3 which offers a Queen and a Twin bed as well as a remote work space and access to a private deck.

Family members of all ages will want to spend time in the lower level of Castlerea! Gaming tables, a ''kids corner'' for the little ones and a living space with seating and a flat screen TV. In addition, there is a sliding glass door that leads directly to the top of the stairs accessing your private shoreline beach.

Walk down the wooden staircase to the side of Mill Creek where you can launch a kayak, lay in the sun, explore the tidal pools with the kids or even fish from the shoreline. Mill Creek can take you to the quiet cove that is Taylor's Pond or out to the Nantucket Sound near Cockle Cove Beach. Owners are permitting guest use of one standard kayak, one junior kayak, one two person paddleboard along with life jackets, oars, beach chairs and toys so everyone can enjoy exploring the surrounding shoreline and waterways. If traversing land is more your speed, it is a short walk to Cockle Cove Beach, Taylor's Pond or a private neighborhood beach accessed by an old cart path. 

This home has Keyless Entry for your convenience.
No Smoking of anything containing tobacco, any other substance, and e-cigarettes, inside or outside of the home.
No Pets are allowed inside or outside the home! 
Max parking of cars at property: 4 - No parking on lawn anytime.

Departure cleaning is included with your reservation at no additional charge. Simply follow our basic check-out instructions at your departure. 
State and local taxes are charged if applicable.  
For Reservations made over 60 days away, you will make two payments - 50% initial payment with reservation and the final balance will be auto billed to your credit card 60 days prior to arrival.  We accept Mastercard and Visa for payments.
A confirmed reservation is non refundable--please consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance. Ask our guest specialist for more details regarding cancel options and trip insurance. 
***Linens - bed sheets, bath/dish/beach towels and bath mats are not included with this home but can be rented at time of booking or at a later date through our linen rental partner. Please ask our guest specialist for details.  Our NEVR Homes come with mattress covers, pillows and a bed cover such as blanket, quilt, bedspread etc.
You must be 25+ years old unless accompanied by a parent or guardian to book one of our Vacation Rental Homes. An ID must be furnished upon request.
