This light-filled Cape features 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. With 1800 sq. feet of living space, it sleeps 6 comfortably. It's tucked away on a quiet street, yet close to towns and beaches. With direct access to the bike path, the property is a walk or a short ride to Oak Bluffs town as well as Eastville Beach, Oak Bluffs Town Beach (Inkwell), and beautiful State Beach. Each room has A/C and a ceiling fan. The home features wifi, a fully equipped kitchen, a gas grill, an outdoor shower, and a washer/dryer. Linens, beach towels, and beach chairs are provided. This is a non-smoking household; no pets, please.

The open floor-plan includes a living room with comfortable couches, a breakfast bar, and seating for 6 at the dining table. There's a large master bedroom with a private bath, as well as a shared powder room. The second floor includes two spacious bedrooms and a full bath with a double-vanity. The large flat lawn is perfect for yard games or just relaxing in the lounge chairs or hammock. There's an outdoor shower, a Weber gas grill, and plenty of outdoor seating for dining and lounging.

Walk or bike to Oak Bluffs town center, Vineyard Haven town center, nearby beaches, and Farm Neck golf course. Visit the historic gingerbread cottages of the Campground, visit the Chilmark Flea, or drive out to South Beach and the Aquinnah cliffs at Gay Head. This home will provide a relaxing respite after a day of exploring all that Martha's Vineyard has to offer.

    Beautiful clean and comfortable home, great location

    This home is such a gem, and it has made for some wonderful MV vacations for our family. We especially love that it is so close to everything (especially the center of Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven, and a bike ride away from Edgartown), and has a lot of outdoor space, with a large deck and fenced-in yard. The interior has a sophisticated but laid-back feel, with comfortable furniture and beds. Whenever we stay here, we are always just as content to hang out at the house as we are to do any number of things that the island offers. show more show less

    Great House!

    The house was great! Fully equipped, as advertised. We loved the rocking chairs on the porch, the deck, and the outdoor shower. The living room is comfortable, the kitchen was functional for family dinners, and the primary bedroom has a king-sized bed. Just off the bike path, which was great for running.

    Quiet, comfortable, gracious

    Friends of mine have hosted me and my husband at this property several times over the past few years. They always let us have the en suite king bedroom on the ground floor and we just love how comfortable it is.
    The house is great for friends or families, especially if you enjoy outside time quietly enjoying a pretty cottage garden. I grew up in the South, so I really appreciate the wraparound porch and rocking chairs.
    The neighborhood is halfway between Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs, just off the beaten path enough not to be loud or crowded. show more show less

    As a life-long New Englander, I grew up visiting the Islands. We rented on Martha's Vineyard for several years before buying a place of our own. Over the years, we've enjoyed making small improvements like the outdoor shower, the new deck, the updated kitchen, and the flower garden. Our family has made many memories in this magical place, and we hope you will make memories of your own here!

    What is special about this property?
    This home is clean, light and well-equipped with everything you need for a relaxing get-away. With comfortable furniture, a fully equipped kitchen, and AC in every room, the home provides a perfect place to relax and unwind. The yard features a large, flat lawn surrounded by a privacy fence and a perennial flower-garden, providing a peaceful setting to come home to after a day at the beach or exploring the island.

    What is special about your town?
    The location can't be beat. It's near the Oak Bluffs and VineyardHaven ferry docks and all the amenities that both towns have to offer. It's a walk to Eastville beach and a bike-ride from Jetty Beach, Town Beach (Inkwell), and State Beach. It's right on the bike path and the bus line. You can jog East Chop or walk into town for dinner or an ice cream. Tucked away, yet close to it all, this home is the perfect Vineyard hide-away!
