I stayed at the Doll House with some close friends to bring in a milestone birthday. Unlike other places I've rented, it exactly matched its listing. It was very newly renovated with absolutely top-notch appliances in the kitchen. (Love the pull-out microwave!) All of the rooms were very spacious. The wild turkeys traipsing through the backyard were an especially nice and original touch. It was a bit set back in the woods, making for a very quiet and relaxing visit. The Doll House I'd like a home away from home. I've stayed at this property for many years - pre-construction and post-construction. The home is vineyard chic, comfortable, spacious, ample parking and provides all of the amenities of home. The expansion and new construction provides for greater gatherings with family & friends in an established neighborhood in close proximity to OB and the airport. The Doll House is one of my favorite places to stay on the Vineyard.

This spacious, modern home with an open floor plan is my favorite annual getaway on MV. The house comfortably sleeps large, extended families or makes THE BEST place for a getaway with your friends. You will feel right at home, because every amenity you need is there. Your summertime home away from home awaits. The owners are awesome and will make your stay memorable.

THE New doll HOUSE is Amazing I love the kitchen and I'm the chef. OPEN Space in the common areas and modern bathrooms. Ample living for me and family. We love staying here. It's a complete transformation from what it was. Did I mention the updated modern kitchen with an awesome stove and fridge. Excellent location on the island as well . Let's go people. Definitely a Legendary Stay

I have had the opportunity to stay at this home pre- and post-expansion. This is truly a home away from home. This spacious home allows multiple families to vacation together and still feel like they have a space of their own. The kitchen is fully stocked; any chef would find the accessories needed to create culinary delights. The refrigerator allows ample storage for your time at this vacation home, and expansive formal and informal seating accommodates larger families.

The spacious bedrooms have ample closets and large screened TVs to start your day with your favorite morning show or unwind at night in the comfort of your queen-sized bed. Each of the bathrooms has been recently renovated, and there are ample linens for your stay. Be sure to bring your car as the house is away from the hustle, bustle, and TRAFFIC that plagues downtown OB, but close enough to the beach that is only a few miles away. Nestled in a quiet private neighborhood, this house is the perfect setting for a family trip, a girlfriend's week or a gathering of couples. Wake up and enjoy coffee on the deck, take a walk around the neighborhood, or spend a rainy day playing board games...the choice is yours!! This is MV living with the sense of being in your own home and the host, Margaret has been on the island for decades and was easy to work with.

My girlfriends and I stayed at the house with our kids and their friends The renovations weee not totally complete. Margaret was very accommodating and helped to make our stay awesome! I'm a baker so my review will focus on that kitchen! She spared no expense on the appliances! They are top notch! I was able to proof my award winning dinner rolls on the oven. There is a stand mixer, every kind of baking pan you can think of. There are mrasuring cups and spoons! I had a blast!I love the openness, even though I was cooking/baking I always felt a part of what was going on in the family room and dining room. show more show less
