Welcome to “Painted Fish”, a private apartment in the beautiful East Chop neighborhood of Oak Bluffs. With all the conveniences of home, plus the beauty, proximity, and serenity of East Chop, your dream vacation can become a reality.

This 3 room apartment has its own entrance, a living room, bedroom, eat-in kitchen, and full bathroom. The large bedroom has a queen-size bed and seating area. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa with a special luxury mattress, as well as a reading/sleeping nook. The bathroom has a tub/shower combination, as well as a full-sized washer and dryer.

You have your own patio and outside dining area, as well as access to a gorgeous outdoor shower surrounded by beautiful plantings.

We provide beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, a fully-outfitted kitchen, DirectTV and complimentary WiFi. We also have adult and children’s bikes available to borrow.

    Wonderful apartment in a great location

    We had a wonderful stay at Painted Fish. The location cannot be beat, as it is within walking distance to the center of Oak Bluffs, but tucked away in a beautiful quiet neighborhood lined with trees and well appointed homes. It's location off of NY Avenue allowed for easy access to beaches and markets. The apartment was comfortable, with a full kitchen, washer and dryer in the large bathroom, and a sitting room that leads to the patio with grill. After long days at the beach, our children enjoyed playing outside as we grilled. The homeowners were hospitable and kind. We plan on visiting again soon. show more show less

    We are year-round residents of Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard. Michael works for a local bank and Katie is a nurse practitioner at Martha's Vineyard Hospital. We have been renting the 3 room, walk out apartment in our house on Airbnb since 2017, and, every Summer, achieve ''Super Host'' status.
