From the "cottage" (my granddaughters' retreat) to "the barn". ( a favorite of my grandsons), this property provided space for everyone and everything! Plus good proximity to beaches, shopping and restaurants which made our travels so convenient!
The property was so well stocked,meeting every need, from kitchen to quality linens, abundance of beach towels and cleaning products and paper products etc.
And the owner was outstanding….it was a pleasure to work with him. Whit was always available and accommodating .
If you are looking for a great summer family getaway, definitely consider this rental!

We can't say enough great things about this property! We have been coming to Chatham for years and we have never stayed in a home that had so many thoughtful touches! It was absolutely perfect for our group. The Main House: the master bed was SO comfortable; and the two other bedrooms were perfect. Noise machines in each room? So thoughtful! The kitchen had everything we needed! The large couch in the family room was ideal for the times we all spent in there. And the large dining room table was perfect for card games at night! The back patio was also great - and the table, again, large enough for everyone! The cottage was great as well - just enough space for our 'spillover' kids! The barn was the perfect place for the kids to hang out at night! The location was also fabulous! A nice walk into town if we wanted to venture; but most times we did the very short drive. And we walked several times to Mac's Seafood, which is essentially next door, for great meals & drinks. All in all, we had a really wonderful week. Whit and Theresa were perfect hosts. We highly recommend Whit's home for your next Cape Cod vacation!

This property in Chatham that we just rented was perfect for our family. Upon arrival everything was set up for us as we asked. We found it to be extremely clean. The sleeping arrangements work perfectly for our growing family. The "game barn" was one of the highlights for all of us. We spent our evenings sitting around a beautiful teak table on the back patio that seats 10 comfortably.

Our host was extremely responsive and respectful in his communication with us. Great location. Walked to Mac's seafood in less than 5 minutes. Private yard and plenty of parking. We would definitely recommend this home.

This house was perfect for us (4 adults, 2 kids) with plenty of space. You could easily fit additional people because of the fantastic cottage in the back. We rented the house for 2 weeks; the first week we were on vacation and the second week we were working remotely, which is when the back cottage came in very handy as an office space completely separated from the kids. The house, barn, cottage, and yard are perfect and so well maintained. The house has everything you would need and the grill is fantastic. The host is very easy to get in touch with, although we had no issues while we were there at all. Most of all the house was very convenient to everything-beaches, town, restaurants. This made it so easy, especially with kids! Highly recommend this great cape house!

(VRBO Review) Whit was a terrific host. He contacted us multiple times to make sure all waS ok. The house is very nicely decorated and notably the supplies (cookware, grill, silverware, etc) were new/ good quality and made cooking a snap. We are big cooks and often are disappointed with rental kitchen equipment. Not the case here. I didn't even unpack the knives and pans I brought! Lots of nice thoughtful touches - umbrellas for rain, beach chairs, cleaning stuff supplied, fresh flowers. It felt like I was a guest. Thank you!

I cannot say enough positive things about our entire experience and rental of this property. First and foremost, the owner, Whit, was the best! He was so accommodating in every way. A note, bottle of wine and snacks were welcoming us upon arrival. Every detail was well thought out when creating this home away from home.

The decor is charming, the house is pristine and we all felt very comfortable and at home. Both the main house and the cottage are equipped with everything you need for a great vacation. Every bed was extremely comfortable and had top notch bedding and linens. The location could not be better as this home was so close to everything Chatham had to offer!

Do not hesitate on this rental. You will NOT be disappointed! My family and I were very happy and comfortable. I will definitely be returning to this quaint town and home.

(VRBO Review) The short story is the house and cottage are stylish, brand new and fully appointed. The location is super close to town and the owner is great to work with. The long story is, the house and cottage have everything you could need, from beach chairs, to cocktail shakers, from a lovely spacious patio to a refreshing outdoor shower, from games in the house to a whole barn full of games (foosball, table tennis, Cornhole). With extra towels, pillows & blankets, a plethora of cookware, including a lobster pot with necessary implements, and lots of wine glasses (always necessary with my extended family!), we honestly didn't want for a single thing. Working with the owner was also a pleasure. Without being asked the owner contacted me ahead of time and offered to set up a crib and high chair, which he did, and were in pristine condition. He also went the extra mile to remove the single bed in the room, rather than cram the crib in with the bed. We never had any problems at the property but Whit checked in with us at the beginning of our stay and again midway through to make sure we didn't want for anything. My family and I also loved having our own cottage away from the main house. It gave us the chance to have a bit of alone time when needed and also allowed us to sleep in when babies were waking up at 5:30am! It might sound strange, but having a cute home away from it all allowed us to enjoy our extended family even more. Last but not least, the location was incredibly convenient, moments from Chatham proper and several beaches. Also right down the road from the grocery store, sandwich shops and multiple restaurants including the delicious Mac's Seafood which is a one minute walk (yes walk) away. Thanks Whit, you thought of everything and helped make our vacation truly relaxing. We'll be back!

We had an excellent summer vacation at this house! Whit was very quick with his responses and is easy to communicate with. The house is clean, bright, and has everything you need for a great vacation. The game room is such a nice bonus. Perfect for a quick game before dinner, or for entertaining on rainy days. The house came with beach passes to Harding's beach which was such a gorgeous beach perfect for families. The outdoor table and grill made summer dining a breeze. Mornings started off the right way with the nespresso maker and milk frother. We were sad to leave and hope to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Whit's! There was plenty of room for all of us (8 of us in total) and the separate cottage was a lifesaver; it allowed my kids to have their own space and provided my husband the peace and quiet he needed to do work in the main home. The separate recreation space in the carriage house provided a lot of fun when the weather wasn't so great and kept the kids occupied.

Whit provided went above and beyond providing in amenities. He provided all of the necessary beach supplies (beach chairs, beach towels) and his home is close to so many wonderful beaches, including our favorite, Harding Beach. In addition to the beaches, there are so many nearby restaurants and stores in walking distance from his home.

Whit was very responsive and reached out two weeks prior to our arrival and checked in frequently to make sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely stay at his place again!

(VRBO Review) We were excited to discover this gorgeous property on the Main Street just a few minutes away from town, the local beaches and the bike path. The accommodations were bright and beachy and the main house and guest house out back were immaculate and fully stocked with everything that you could need for a beach vacation-gas grill, lobster pot, beach towels, beach chairs, washer and dryer, outdoor shower etc. The house has AC to keep you cool and the guest rooms were all restful and even included sound machines to block out any road noise. The TVs had access to Netflix and Hulu, perfect for evening downtime. The property includes a barn out back that has ping pong, foosball, and cornhole boards for fun and entertainment when relaxing at the house. The house is easy to find, beautifully landscaped, beautifully decorated, has plenty of room for parking and is in close proximity to the local Chatham market and within walking distance to Pate's Restaurant, and Mac's Chatham Fish and Lobster. This house was a fantastic find for our first Chatham getaway and I would highly recommend staying here! The owner is kind and very responsive and even left us some local Cape goodies as a welcome! We hope to visit again!
