Inside the house...
This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The master bedroom (sleeps 2 people) has a queen bed, ceiling fan, and a private bath. The second bedroom (sleeps 4 people) has two twin beds and a twin trundle bed and a ceiling fan. The third bedroom (sleeps 2 people) has a queen bed and oscillating fans. The eat-in kitchen has all appliances (including a dishwasher and microwave.) There is also a dining room, a living room and a TV room with a flat screen TV with cable. There is wireless internet access. There is a washer and dryer, and unlimited local phone service. The house has large windows allowing for sunny mornings and cool breezes.
Outside the house...
Located at the end of a private, dead end road there is plenty of parking. There are 3 outdoor decks, gas grill and plenty of tables and chairs. Off the back side of the house is an outdoor shower. The yard is spacious and filled with plooms of hydrangea bushes. There is ample opportunity and privacy to soak in the sun in peace or strike up the gas grill and relax with family and friends.
Around the neighborhood...
The house is in a neighborhood that sits on Oyster Pond. Guests are welcome to walk down the deeded path, through the neighborhood, to the Oyster Pond to explore the water views (not a sanded beach for swimming). Or follow the deeded path in the opposite direction which will bring you out to the Cornfield shopping area on Rt. 28, where you will find excellent specialty food (seafood, fruits & vegetables, wine and prepared foods) shops!
Around Chatham...
There are plenty of public, sandy beaches in Chatham - Hardings Beach, Cockle Cove, Ridgevale and more. Access to the public bike trail is just minutes from the house. Chatham center is a nice walk, bike ride or quick car ride away, where you will find excellent shopping, dining, the Friday night band concerts or The Chatham A's Baseball games. Chatham is a classic New England beach town where you will inevitably create many fond summer memories. show more show less
