You can experience a memorable beach vacation and relax in a quiet neighborhood setting. Bring your bikes, roller blades, and running shoes and hop on the bike path towards Woods Hole or onto the Shining Sea Bikeway. Walk to Martha's Vineyard Ferries leaving from Falmouth Harbor.

The home has a two-car garage for bikes and other storage, and a nice open yard for relaxing after a day at the beach, fishing, or golf, for playing yard games. Fire up the gas grill on the outdoor patio under the bistro lights. Updated open concept fully equipped kitchen with a beautiful sunlit dining area that opens onto the patio. On the main level you will find a comfortable living room to watch a late-night movie. Two bedrooms and 1 full bath complete the main floor. Bedroom 1 includes a queen bed, dresser, side table and full-size closet. The second bedroom includes a full-size bed, bunk beds, side table and built-in dresser with full-size closet. In the unfinished basement is a second TV and lounging area to relax in as well as a full-size washer and dryer.

Great restaurants within walking distance offering seafood, Mexican, Greek, Italian, Irish fare and of course Ice Cream! Downtown Falmouth offers several shopping and entertainment options. Grocery and other stores are conveniently within a mile from the home.

Home includes linens, towels (beach and bath), pullout bed 1 person loveseat in addition to beds in bedrooms, parking for two-three cars in driveway. On-street parking is also available.

    Location, location, location!

    Adorable house in the perfect location! Can't say enough about this charming find! Large, private backyard -- perfect for outside dining, lounging and playing yard games. Plenty of beds for my family of five, plus a cozy living room for puzzles/board games/tv. But the best part of all is the property's location! Short, easy walks to both Falmouth town center (great restaurants and adorable shops) and Falmouth Harbor (from which we hopped on an early ferry to spend a day on Martha's Vineyard). One morning we walked to the mouth of Falmouth Harbor for a ride on the schooner Liberte -- a terrific sail and a pirate's tale! Fun for the whole family! Although parking was a breeze, we frequently rode our bikes to the nearby beach, particularly in the late afternoons when the temperature cooled down. Another great (and picturesque!) bike ride (about a half hour) is to Woods Hole, a perfect town for an afternoon ice cream or iced coffee. Again, I can't say enough about this Cape rental.     Wonderful Cape Cod experience! Peaceful, clean, and close to everything. Perfect for walking to the Island Queen for a quick trip to Martha's Vineyard. We loved that we could relax in the private backyard or simply jump on our bikes from the driveway and head onto the scenic bike trail to the beaches and Woods Hole. Hosts were very responsive and provided lots of helpful information about the area. We would definitely stay here again!

    Perfect Location!

    This house is in the perfect location to enjoy an easy vacation on the cape. Plenty to do without having to get in the car and drive. You can walk to downtown Falmouth and the beach! We enjoyed biking to the shining sea bike path and to Woods Hole, both were great adventures. We walked to dinner in town and to the restaurant at the harbor. The house has an updated kitchen and bath. The kitchen is large and has a great gathering area. There is a great private backyard for outdoor dining. Very nice homeowners! show more show less

    This year is the first year (Larry and Kari) are renting this home as a vacation / holiday home.

    What is special about this property?
    The property is on a very quiet street. From here you can walk to Falmouth Harbor to get a lobster roll. You can walk downtown for dinner. You can walk to the beach. The house is all on one level, so there are not a lot of stairs to go up and down. We love the private backyard for grilling. The kitchen and bathroom were updated a few years ago as you can see in the pictures.

    What is special about your town?
    Our family has been renting in Falmouth for years. We liked Falmouth so much we decided to buy a house here. We love being near the water for boating, fishing, swimming, and the restaurants in downtown Falmouth. There is also golf in Falmouth. We also like the fact that it is only a 20 minute drive from the Bourne Bridge / Cape Cod Canal.
