The house itself also has seen updates including fresh paint in every room, refinished or new wood floors on the second floor, new central air on second floor, new cooktop, a brand new mahogany front deck, updated light fixtures and electrical, a brand new on demand hot water heater (don’t worry about being the 10th person in a row to shower!) and many many more updates. Light, bright and summery sum up the decorative feel in just a few words!

Sleeps 11+ comfortably in two king beds, two queen beds, a twin bunk bed and a day bed in the upstairs family / TV room. Four of the five bedrooms (plus upstairs family / TV room) let you sleep comfortably with the 2nd floor central A/C and the downstairs fifth bed with window A/C is well separated if you have a heavy snorer in your group! The master bed (king) features a full en-suite bathroom and 12’ vaulted ceilings with skylight. There is a second full bath on the second floor with both tub and shower and a half bath with laundry downstairs adjacent to the living room. Please note that linens (bed sheets and towel sets) are not included but can be rented and delivered through a third party service. The home has 2 King, 2 queen, 3 twin and one crib size sheet requirements. Please contact us for recommendations on a linen rental if needed – we can not post this information in this listing. Cleaning fees for the home after checkout are included in the rental price.

While you won’t be disappointed if you are stuck inside on a rainy day the outdoor patio and yard are the place to be during the summer. Nearly 100% of the 0.63 acre lot is filled with mature landscaping and ready for backyard games and family fun. A 500 sq ft bluestone patio features landscape lighting for use at night, a natural gas high end Weber grill (fed off the house so no fear of running out of propane), Sunbrella patio seating for 10 surrounding a fire pit, and a picnic table for 6. Pets are considered and are well contained with a 4’ fence surrounding the yard. An brand new oversized outdoor shower with hot water around the corner on the back side of the house completes the yard.

In addition to the outdoor space, there is a three season indoor porch with French doors off the living room with a 10’ dining table and seating for 14+. A perfect space for eating, playing cards and games or just extending out the living room!

The charming kitchen with farmhouse sink features a stainless steel dishwasher, gas range, refrigerator and microwave, a double wall oven, and plenty of pantry and counter space at an island with seating for 2. All cookware, utensils, dinnerware and flatware are brand new and completely understand if you decide to skip cooking all together and order / go out to one of many of Harwichport’s great restaurants within walking distance.

Once you are all beached out and want to just relax, the family and dedicated play room are a great place to hang out and are spacious enough for the whole family. The oversized living room features two full sized couches plus additional seating and opens up to the indoor porch ensuring there is room for everyone. An iMac and desk is also present for internet and music.

Should you insist on staying “plugged in” while on vacation, this home is completely updated with technology and offers 100mbps internet via mesh Wi-Fi network, a 21” iMac in the living room for internet, a 49” 4K UHD TV with HD cable, Apple TV and 4K Roku 4 (Netflix, Hulu etc) in the living room, a 40” Smart (Netflix, Hulu etc.) HDTV in the upstairs family room with Nintendo Wii as well as TVs (either smart or with Roku) in all bedrooms with king or queen beds. A Bluetooth radio is also present on the first floor – just connect your own device and hit play!

    Very comfortable and well-furnished house in a great location

    We've rented a number of vacation houses over the years, and haven't always been pleased. Quite often the house isn't as roomy as it appears in pictures, it has rooms that are locked, the a/c isn't working well, or it lacks essential products which means we're either lugging half our stuff from home or buying it once we arrive. Because we live close to Cape Cod, I drove out to look at potential houses in person last year and ultimately picked this one. I knew it would be the perfect choice and was hoping that everyone in our family (two parents, four grown children, one teen who brought a friend and one toddler) would agree. After staying here for a week, I can say that the answer is a resounding and unanimous yes -- it was an absolutely wonderful house and provided us with a memorable, relaxing family vacation week.

    The house is large with lots of different gathering rooms. When my husband and I wanted to sit and relax with some coffee or tea, we would enjoy the use of the small front dining area. When we wanted to have a couple of large family dinners, we sat in the large dining sun room. We played board games in the family room and the baby had full use of the play room, which was fantastic. It was full of toys and ensured that they didn't get scattered all over the rest of the house. The porch of the house was another gathering place for us because the yard is fenced in and we could let our grandson run around without worrying about traffic. The shed is full of yard toys (a slide, toddler cars, balls) as well as beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. No need to bring anything from home because it has it all! Upstairs, the house is fully air-conditioned, and the cool air drifted downstairs (which has room units).

    We never were uncomfortable or hot despite the Cape's heat that particular week. We especially liked having two staircases to the house because it made the quick run upstairs so much easier for everyone. Outdoors, there is a patio with plenty of seating and a fire pit and grill and a large, well-manicured yard. All the instructions for the house are in a binder, making it easy to enjoy your time there without struggling to know how to do something. TVs are in every bedroom and the family room, and there are instructions about how to use them. Even the light switches are labeled. Finally, the house is in an ideal location. It is a short walk to the main street where you will find restaurants, shops, ice cream and a beer garden full of family games and beverages for all, and its nearest beach is Bank Street Beach, which is our favorite beach on the Cape. We are so thankful that we chose this house for our week on the Cape.

    We had an amazing couples weekend away! The house was exactly what we expected and very clean and inviting. All the beds were super comfortable and we especially enjoyed the spacious yard and fire pit both evenings that we were there. It was so great to be so close to town that one of the nights we walked to Ember at the end of Bank Street for dinner. Jillian and Grant were very easy to work with and we hope to return next year!

    We had a great week in Harwichport while staying at this beautiful home. Although we traveled to nearby Chatham one day, we thoroughly enjoyed spending most of our time at the home, in the beautiful backyard, or on the back porch. It felt like home. Being able to walk into town was great too. We had oysters and pizza and spent an evening at the local beer garden, all a short walk to the house. The nearby beach was quiet and clean. It really was superb and I look forward to a return trip! Thank you so much Jillian!

    The home is lovely, spacious and welcoming. The property as a whole offers privacy and space for the children to play. We found the kitchen to be well stocked for our at home meals. The bedrooms are very comfortable and their locations in the house are perfect. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable. The stars at night were unreal, you can actually see the milky way! We were close to restaurants, shops and the chamber of commerce which provides helpful vacation info. The beach was great, never too crowded and just a short drive or walk if you don't need to bring necessities for children. The proximity to other towns on the cape made for easy exploring. Our vacation was fantastic. A very big thanks to Jillian who was very easy to work with:)

    My wife and I live primarily in Boston, MA with our 2 sons and 2 dogs, but look forward to our Cape time to relax and unwind.

    What is special about this property?
    We recently purchased this home because we fell in love with Harwichport and its walkability to beaches and town (restaurants, bars, shops). It is also a short drive to Chatham and walkable to a ferry to Nantucket. The home is big and comfortable so we can enjoy it with our family and friends and has a yard large enough for games and entertaining which was very difficult to find very close to the beach.

    What is special about your town?
    Harwich Port is great for family vacations and has a number of fun attractions such as go carting and trampoline parks in addition to the great restaurants and beaches.
