The house is located at the end of a quiet street and overlooks the beautiful Hinckley Pond with access to put your kayak, canoe, or paddleboards in the freshwater pond. We can offer the use of our canoe, kayak, and SUPs if requested. A great clean pond for swimming or grabbing your rod to catch a fish! We are less than a mile to the bike trail and that is always a great adventure. The large deck is great for entertaining for dinner as well as serene in the morning for your cup of coffee. The deck has a large couch area, a large umbrella, a table for 6, and a grill.

There are 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The master, located upstairs has a king bed and its own bathroom. Upstairs are two more bedrooms, one has two twins and the another has a full bed. The upstairs full bathroom has a beautiful marble shower and counters. The last bedroom is located on the lower level and has a full bed and a full bathroom.

As for amenities, we have a full kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, fridge and stove/oven, coffee/tea machine, and toaster. We have a washer and dryer located in the basement. And we have an AC Split in the sitting room that will cool off the main floors and more. We can have a window ac unit out into the bedrooms upon request.

The layout of the house gives plenty of privacy for all. There is a bright sitting room off the kitchen where you can relax and read your book by the large bay window or have cocktails and apps before dinner. The downstairs has a family room with cable tv that connects to the two-car garage. The garage is great to store bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, etc. There is an outdoor shower to enjoy under the blue skies of the Cape or the clear star-filled sky at night.

We are located close to the bay beaches in Brewster or a 10-minute ride to the gorgeous beaches in Harwichport. There are many restaurants, shops, trails, and ice cream a short drive away. It's a special place. read more show less

    We spent a fabulous week at this lovely home in early October this year. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood right off Route 6 with easy parking for multiple vehicles. It is within walking distance to trails for both walking and biking which made it super easy to get in our exercise each day. There were also books and maps provided for hikes further afield. The fact that the house is located mid-Cape allowed us quick and easy access to all parts of the Cape for our daily explorations. We did not hesitate to head to Provincetown, Chatham, and Nauset Beach since the usual summer traffic was almost non-existent while we were there. Dawn and Tony left us a big list of restaurants, shops, and sights to visit, and we took full advantage of this and enjoyed them all. Harwich is an adorable little town with a great coffee shop, a well-stocked bookstore, a cozy breakfast spot, and a woodfired pizza restaurant. What more could you want? We also loved sitting out on the back deck watching the eagles and osprey soar around the pond while we grilled up our dinners. There are plenty of restaurants within a few minutes drive, but we often opted to eat-in since the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook. We kept saying that this would be a fabulous house to visit as a family or with a few friends since there is plenty of space for everyone to hang out and be comfortable.     We stayed at the house, and it could not have been a better fit for our family of four (definitely room for more). Mornings on the back deck, exploring the woods behind the house, a huge yard for football, whiffle ball, frisbee, really anything, and an easy walk to take the SUPs for a spin around the huge lake. It was extremely convenient for shopping, groceries, restaurants, and ferries. We will definitely be back!

    I will typically respond to an inquiry very timely. My husband and I have owned this house for 5 years and we will provide a clean, well-stocked, well-maintained property to guests who are making special summertime memories of their own. We truly hope that families will treat and enjoy our home the same way as we have.

    What is special about this property?
    We are fortunate about the privacy that we have found. It is a great neighborhood. We love to ride to the bike path and head to Pleasant Lake Pizza Shark for a slice and an ice cream cone or head in the other direction into town for some shopping. Hickley Pond has been treated with alum treatment and is clean to swim, fish, and play in. We have made many memories on the pond fishing, on SUPs, kayaks, or swimming.
    We have a large backyard for fun yard games while guests watch from the large deck. You can pop open the umbrella and enjoy your morning brew or curl up with your summer read. The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms with an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day on the pond or at the beach.

    What is special about your town?
    Harwichport is a beautiful unique Cape Cod town and only a 5 min drive. It has great shopping during the day and a fabulous array of restaurants. One of our favorite events is the Wednesday Harwichport Stroll, they have all the stores open, the restaurants offering great meals, and local bands playing on every corner. It is a great event for all ages!
    The view on Route 28 of Wychmere Harbor is picture-perfect. And south of town, you will find several great beaches on Nantucket Sound. Beautiful spired churches and great golf options. And you can not come to the Cape without attending a Cape Cod Baseball League game. Harwich Mariners play at Whitehouse Field about 2 miles away. Harwichport also offers a fast ferry to Nantucket, seal cruises, and many more.
