This house is in a great location, near the East side of Lovers Lake, close to town and near Pleasant Bay. It is a large space but I want to point out some aspects of the house: it has a musty smell that is particularly strong in the downstairs bedroom and seems ingrained in the closets and wood drawers in all three bedrooms. The couch in the living room also smelled must. None of us put our clothes away for this reason. I raised the issue with the owner and was told that I should open the windows. I of course did this but it didn't help the must smell. Also the clothes dryer was broken when we arrived and was not fixed the entire week we were there, which really impacted our vacation. The owners need to make some improvements here. show more show less

Our family of 7, which includes 5 teenagers, enjoyed a wonderful stay at this Chatham home. Because of our family size, it is important to find a house that works for us, which isn't always easy. When booking the home and throughout the stay the owner was very responsive and offered her availability to questions/concerns should they arise.

When we arrived at the home we were very surprised at how much space there was for our family to spread out and relax comfortably. The kitchen allowed us room to cook meals at the house and plenty of storage for our own items that we brought. There is a ping pong table in the basement that our kids enjoyed as well. Having the lake nearby worked well for our evenings after returning back "home". We brought our own kayaks and paddleboard and swam, fished and relaxed.

In addition to the home itself, the neighborhood was very quiet and we were centrally located to the Chatham Fish Pier, and less than 15 minutes to Nauset and Skaket. We appreciate the rental opportunity for this house and look forward to returning for future stays. show more show less

Our family has rented this home 5 times over the last 6 years. The home is very comfortable and in a great location. The home is in a quiet secluded neighborhood at the end of a cul de sac with next door access to swimming and boating at Lovers Pond. The home is also located within 1/2 mile of tennis courts at the middle school and access to the bike trail, 2 miles to swimming at Schoolhouse Pond or downtown Chatham, and 4 miles to Ridgevale Beach.

In summary, a comfortable home in a great location with excellent homeowners- if you are looking for quiet place in a superb location with easy access to outdoor activities, you can't go wrong here. show more show less

Great home and stay. Quiet location. Quick drive to beach and restaurants. Family really enjoyed our time.

The house was such a nice, comfortable place. Our son played for the Anglers, so it was very convenient to his host family and the field. The lake was so pretty an peaceful. It was a wonderful, peaceful getaway.

My family and I had lovely week in this great rental house! My kids loved swimming at all the local beaches in the mornings & then the lake next to the house in the afternoons. My husband kept his boat at nearby Ryder's Cove, and getting there, as well as going to the town shopping and dining areas, was very convenient. The house was comfortable and spacious with a well-stocked kitchen & nice backyard patio.

Great location for a variety of activities! We loved the fact that this house was located on a quiet cul-de-sac, perfect for biking and a stone's throw from the lake with swimming & boating. We never had to worry about where the kids were, or other people's noise, etc. It had great accessibility to both Pleasant Bay and downtown shopping & beaches, but when we came back to our quiet neighborhood after a day out, it felt like home! The house itself was comfortable and extremely clean. We loved the open floor plan, downstairs master (with its own bathroom, always a plus!) and adorable seaside decor throughout. Our family of 5 loved our week in Chatham and stay here. The house was so open and bright. Great for family time and relaxing. We loved the lake that was right next to the house. It was the perfect place to relax in the late afternoon after a day at the beach. We are looking forward to coming back in July this year.
