We had the best family vacation with seven adults and an 18mo and 1yr old grandchild. We were able to book this home in Sept. of 2021 in hopes that COVID restrictions wouldn't raise it's ugly head and force us to cancel. Our family came from VT, Long Island, NY and close by from the Boston area. It was our Christmas and every holiday in between since our entire family hadn't been together in 18 months.

This house worked out well for us; plenty of room and in a very quiet neighborhood. Large kitchen well equipped with a large dining table flowing into a large living space. A very short distance to Old Silver Beach. Had no issue during the week being able to park; weekend was very busy so shuttling to and from on our first full day (Sunday). If you have toddlers in your party, we just moved some of the tables so we wouldn't have bumps and bruises. Out of precaution, we did place a chair at the door that had stairs to the basement to block it so our little one wouldn't get curious about opening the door and tumbling down. The door lock didn't seem to work so we just blocked the doorway for our Mr. Curious. :)

The screened in porch was our go to - very relaxing and with the ceiling fan, provided some movement of air when the evening was becoming a bit more humid. Owner is very responsive! All emails were answered very quickly! We had some issues getting the tv and internet up and running and questions were answered timely.

We are hoping to visit Falmouth again as many unique shopping and wonderful eateries; we know there are more that we need to explore. This area is very family-centered and we were pleased with this area especially traveling with very young children. Hoping to go back! show more show less

We were looking for a house big enough for a high school friend get together, plus teens and spouses. As it turned out, strictly speaking we didn't need all the sleeping space, but this was an awesome gathering spot for cooking big meals, doing a puzzle on our first rainy day, making smores, and just hanging out & relaxing. It's also big enough that when you need a bit of quiet you can find a corner by yourself with a pot of tea (cute little collection!).

The house is spotless, cosy, and homey, but up to date and well cared for. The kitchen and bathrooms look recently redone and are even nicer than in the photos. Tons of ammenities: bath and beach towels, all bed linens, pillows, blankets, paper products, shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry and cleaning products. Even though the property is immediately off a main access road it's at the end of a little dead end so it feels secluded and peaceful. Easy walk to Old Silver. The birders in our group loved the cranberry bog. We were there early enough in the season that the backyard was not at all buggy so we enjoyed the firepit most nights. The screened in porch is fabulous - cocktail central!

Of note if you have limited mobility. You do have to negotiate steps at the front or back to get in, but once in the house there is a first floor bedroom and walk in shower. So it's not wheelchair accessible, but a good property to consider for someone who is starting to have limitations with walking.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the property itself, the location, or the ease of communication with the very thoughtful owner. Before we came out I was thinking we would not rent again and just squeeze in as we usually do with my friends who live down Quaker Rd. But now I am trying to talk everyone into booking again next year! show more show less

My mother, sister, her dog, and I all had a wonderful time at Vitamin Sea! Cathy was a fantastic host - thoughtful, warm & welcoming, providing helpful information and recommendations about the area. The house is in a perfect, quiet location within easy walking distance to Old Silver Beach.

We visited just after Thanksgiving to see what a Christmas-y Cape Cod looks like and we're so happy we did. Vitamin Sea was spacious while also being warm and cozy. The weather was mild enough on a couple of days during our stay so we were even able to enjoy the fire pit and screened-in sun porch. The dog loved the yard and especially loved the daily walks to the beach. We appreciated how easy it was to access all of the main routes for our day trips. Lots of great shopping at Mashpee Commons and along the Main Streets of Chatham and Falmouth. Each night we enjoyed coming home to the comfortable living room where we worked on a puzzle while watching a holiday special. Lots of great memories were made. We had the most wonderful time at this vacation home. The property was clean, comfortable, and in the most perfect location. I spent countless hours on the screened in porch surrounded by greenery, and hearing the local church bells in the distance throughout the day! There is so much to see and do nearby, including in walking distance: I loved walking to the beach, riding our bikes to the Shining Sea Bikeway (it was wonderful to be able to borrow two from the host!), and walking to a nearby cranberry bog. We also loved Cape Cod Winery, Bad Martha's Brewery, exploring the little shops and French bakery in downtown Falmouth and more! We had a very nice stay here. The house is at the end of a dead end street, so super quiet, yet close to the beach, good takeout, the bike path etc. The screened in porch was a necessity to keep out the bugs, and we really enjoyed sitting out there. There was a grill for our use as well. So glad we could bring our pooch too!

Wonderful home on a dead end street. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Loved sitting on the screened in porch day and night. Even our dog felt at home and enjoyed the dog bed in the living room! The outdoor shower was large and enjoyed by all! We biked/ walked to Old Silver during the day and each night to enjoy sunset.

The owner was so great to work with and always so helpful with any questions!

We enjoyed a wonderful 2 weeks at this home! It is within walking distance to Old Silver which eliminated any parking issues!
All linens are supplied which was critical for us as we were flying from Houston.

Ever want to get away with your entire family (i.e. dogs too!) to a very comfortable home within walking distance to the beach, bike path and bog trails? We found that this home met all of this and more. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out and its great location allowed for easy day trips to the National Seashore and Sandy Neck Beach. The kitchen was well stocked with new pots/pans, glassware, dishes and a Keurig! An outdoor shower was fantastic to rinse off sand while the huge, first floor washer/dryer was key for keeping up with laundry.

Many great memories were made around the huge dining table and with Alexa playing a wide variety of music throughout the house. My favorite spot was the screened porch with a ceiling fan, relaxing with my morning coffee and later evening wine. Our dog loved walking around the adorable yard and sitting with us out back in the Adirondack chairs. Bells play from the nearby church in the afternoon which was a charming sound. The homeowner was fantastic to deal with and readily replied to all questions we had. show more show less

From the start, our experience at Vitamin Sea was excellent. The hosts could not be more responsive or accommodating. For us, the most important feature of the house was that they accepted pets. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the house had much more to offer than that. It was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The house is located at the end of a dead end street and it had a private yard which made it safe for our dogs. Additionally, right behind the house is a beautiful walking area accessible by a trail where you will find cranberry bogs , a pond and a shortcut to the bike path. We used this daily.

The house is walking distance to Old SIlver Beach. However, we often rode our bikes to Chappaquoit or Megansett. I found the house to be both convenient and comfortable. The hosts were always available for questions and were eager to please. We hope to return again in the years to come. show more show less
