Brewster Vacation Rental - ID 14551

Back for our 4th time, and had another great vacation and hope to return next year! We decided this year that the thing we like best is sitting on the deck and looking at the pond - it is tranquil and beautiful! Brewster is a great location for getting a taste of all the different beaches - low tide in the Brewster flats, big (cold) waves at Nauset, and warmer waves on the south shore. The house is sparkling clean and equipped with everything you need. It's perfect!

Large home allowed separate areas for each of three families. The dinning room allowed all 12 of us to eat together. Very beautiful and well equipped home. Fabulous vacation!

This wonderful Cape rental is perfect for large families -- with enough space for everyone to join together in the dining/living room, as well as to have private space in the two bedroom wings of the home (the layout is one thing that makes this rental work so well). The home has everything you need, from dishes and pans in the kitchen, to well-stocked linens, beach chairs and towels (in good condition) for the entire crew.

The setting is spectacular -- near the end of a dead-end street, on a quiet lake where we were often the only people on the lake. The lake itself is clear and clean. We rented paddle boards (delivered), and purchased a 5-person float from Costco ($99) that we anchored off the dock -- this made the water so inviting as we basically created our own dock. The large outdoor deck overlooking the lake has an awning to provide shade and was a relaxing oasis.

The house was super clean -- no dirt or grime even in the corners (we are super picky). Some signs of wear (hardwood floors and cracked bathroom tiles) were barely noticed. The bathrooms are older but again, spotlessly clean. show more show less

Our vacation began with what seemed to be a devastating event; the home we had rented sight unseen on air bnb was uninhabitable - dirty and in disrepair. We called Sotheby's and they immediately set to finding us a rental. In two hours we had rented Leland and our vacation back on track. The house is perfect in every way for a large family. Our grandchildren swam and fished off the deck. The adults relished the views from the yard. Furniture and beds are clean and comfortable. There is not one negative comment I can make. We were back for our third year and the house was great. We had 12 people spanning 4 generations - this house is perfect!

Exquisite views from the living areas of the pond. Enjoyed kayaking, rafting, and paddleboarding before and after beaching.

This is a beautiful, very well kept house, in a fabulous location on the lake. We had our extended family stay here and the house is very well laid out for this. The kitchen has everything you could need and Sothebys were very helpful. Couldn't have been better!
