Fully redecorated house on East Chop in Oak Bluffs, ideally located close to town. The interior is clean and crisp, with beach cottage décor and beautiful bamboo floors. There are updated appliances and granite counter in a fully equipped, modern kitchen. The home features central A/C, outdoor shower, fast WiFi, streaming video services and Sonos music throughout.

Circuit Avenue and town favorite Jetty Beach each are an easy walk. There is a brick side patio for outdoor dining and a large, shaded backyard with Adirondack chairs and a picnic table. The front porch is a lovely spot for coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening.

The first floor has a queen master suite with walk-in closet and full bath; living area with breakfast bar and separate dining space; and a sitting/TV area with a comfortable sectional sofa. Upstairs are two additional spacious bedrooms: one with a queen and the other with two twins.

New for 2023: Comfortable sectional sofa, new window treatments, and an espresso machine!

Free ferry reservations available for: July 1-8 and July 8-15, 2023.

    What a lovely house this is! And the location is just perfect: a short walk to the restaurants and shops in Oak Bluffs! The pictures do not do justice to the house - the rooms are actually larger than they appear. The lawn and garden are just perfectly manicured. I would definitely return and recommend this place to my most difficult friends!

    Great house, great location. We really loved our stay here. Very clean, very nice inside and out. The location worked out great, especially when we found out about the route to walk down to Oak Bluffs through the back yard and along Moss Ave which was nicer than on the main street. The fact that we could walk to all the shops and restaurants throughout the weekend made everything so easy.

    This awesome house is just a few blocks from downtown Oak Bluffs. Super comfy with a well-equipped kitchen and generous supply of regular towels and beach towels. Owner is helpful and responsive.

    We stayed at Gary's house for Labor Day weekend and the house is a true gem! The location couldn't get much better. The house is very clean, tastefully decorated and has all the amenities you need. The outdoor shower was one of the highlights. Gary met us upon arrival, shared some insider tips - the bus picks up and drops you off right in front of the house and is a super easy system; suggested some great places to eat and things to do. The house is close to all the restaurants, shops, and marina so you really don't need a car. The house is perfect for couples or a family. The only very minor downside is that the bathrooms are all on the first floor and there are two bedrooms upstairs but there are washer and dryers in the bathroom should you need it. The kitchen had everything you need - great cookware, dishwasher and the grill is right off the kitchen. I sat on the porch drinking my coffee in one of the rocking chairs each morning and it was a great way to start the day. Would highly recommend this house and look forward to coming back to Martha's Vineyard and to Gary's place.

    We have been Martha's Vineyard summer residents since 2005. Our family home is just up the street, so we can be very responsive to our renters. We enjoy helping people get to know Martha's Vineyard and all the island has to offer!

    What is special about this property?
    In real estate they they talk about location, location, location -- and this house has it. East Chop is super-close to town, but just far enough to get away from the bustle at the end of the day. So much is walkable: Jetty Beach, downtown Oak Bluffs, Steamship, fishing pier and Cottage City/Tabernacle.

    What is special about your town?
    Oak Bluffs has it all: Great restaurants, harbor, pier, Ocean Park fireworks, performances at the Tabernacle. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
