    What a Gem!

This house was a fantastic spot for our family of 4. The house was clean and cozy with plenty of space. The yard was spacious with lots of places for the kids to play. The bike trail is next door and you are minutes away from First Encounter Beach. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. We immediately rebooked for next year.

    Perfect House

This house was perfect for our vacation with a family of four. Has a bonus room to accommodate more. Well-stocked with everything you need. Beautiful, ideal Cape cottage. Steps away to a gorgeous spot to sit on Herring Pond and see a perfect sunset or walk to the pond beach just down the road. Close to everything on the Cape. Owner Pam is next door and wants to make sure you have a great week. When it got really hot she actually brought over a brand new A/C unit she'd bought for the second bedroom which was very appreciated by my kids and means that the house can fully cool down quickly. Truly a perfect spot. show more show less

    Quintessential Cape Cod!

This was our first stay in this lovely cottage! We wanted for nothing. The cottage itself was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen was well-equipped. There's an outdoor shower to get all the sand off after a day at the beach. The grounds are beautiful! There's a path leading to Herring Pond where we spent some quality time at the private beach. The location is perfect! Close to the bike trail, the bay (First Encounter Beach became a favorite), and the ocean. Pam is a lovely host and made us feel quite welcomed. Our only issue was that we couldn't stay longer! Thank you for one of the most enjoyable times we've had on the Cape! show more show less

    Real Cape Cod Living

My husband and I have rented this property for several years. It is well located on the back roads of Eastham, Ma. There is a beautiful swimming pond steps away. It is an adorable, well designed 3 bedroom cottage filled with everything you could possibly need. Extremely clean. Beautiful gardens and a lovely canopied outdoor sitting area. The owner is a wonderful lady who lives nearby and is eager to please her tenants. We absolutely love vacationing hereIIII.

    Eighteen Years on Herring Pond

Our family has rented this property for the past 18 years and we consider it to be home-base for our annual Cape Cod vacation. The lovely cottage is perfectly situated--among the pines for quiet living, steps away from the Cape Cod Bike Trail, on Herring Pond with its swimming/boating/fishing opportunities and the most spectacular sunsets you can imagine, close enough to the ocean and the bay to bike. Not only is the cottage stocked with everything needed for comfort but the homeowner--whom we now think of as a friend--is always responsive to our requests (we've had everyone from infants to 96 year-olds with us on vacation and all have been comfortable in the cottage). Every year, as we drive up to the cottage through the trees, we take a deep breath of pine, we take a glimpse of peaceful Herring Pond, we relax into Cape mode, and we take a moment to think about how lucky we are to have found this place. show more show less

I grew up on this property and has been in the family for generations, well loved by our family and many stories about the land. I started to rent, as a way to pay the taxes and upkeep and found folks enjoyed the property as well. I have enjoyed meeting all and had fun telling about the Cape and about the history, if asked.( smile)
