This was our 9th year renting this home. The Cape is amazing in the fall, very beautiful, great weather, and much calmer and quieter than the summer high season. We love this home because it's beautiful, well kept and tidy, comfortable and fully equipped with everything we might need. It's located in a wonderfully serene wooded area near the Cape Cod Bike Trail and several beaches. We continue to discover new (to us) hiking trails near the salt marshes and wild life sanctuaries that are stunningly beautiful. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Finally, Rory (the owner) has been a super host who's very attentive and available to tenants needs (should any come up). We really appreciate his welcoming manner. Looking forward to next fall's getaway!

We have been to the Cape many times over the years experiencing a different home each visit. Our search has ended this year! Rory's home was absolutely perfect. All of the bedrooms are large with dressers and closets. Having two bathrooms was awesome. There are air conditioners in every room!!!! Rory has everything stocked that you could ever need. Garbage bags, toilet paper, coffee, beach chairs and toys - amazing! This home is decorated with just the perfect Cape Cod touch. Most importantly for our family was that the access to the bike trail was literally down the block!! The home has a covered area for keeping your bikes dry. We loved this home and the communication with the owner from the moment we booked was incredible. We will be back! Thank you Rory for sharing your lovely home and for all the extras you put into it to make your guests feel welcome and able to relax and enjoy their time on the Cape.

My family and I loved loved loved our vacation at this home. Fantastic location (close to 6 with easy access to 2 lights, a short drive to Wellfleet, close to beaches), beautiful home, lots of space. It's a lovely house with all of the amenities you'd want, including an outdoor shower! We looked forward to coming back to the house every day after we finished on the beach. In addition, the owner is extremely informative and easy to contact. We will absolutely be back!

We love this house - enough room, but not too big - well maintained - reasonably priced - close to great beaches and restaurants and the bike path. Can't wait to come back next summer!

The homeowner was a super host. Responds quickly and is easy to communicate with.
The house was clean and had everything you could need. Our favorite, an outdoor shower, air conditioner in each room, washer, dryer, microwave, coffeemaker and dishwasher. Lovely deck. In addition, paper products and soap were provided.
Quiet road. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful vacation! Great location, so close to the bike trail and Nauset and Coastguard Beaches. The house was very clean and comfortable. Gas fireplace made it very cozy for those cool evenings . Wonderful selection of pots and pans. The dishwasher was much appreciated. Rory was accessible and always helpful.

My wife and I have rented this home each year for 8 consecutive years. We love it's location near the Cape Cod Bike Trail, 3-4 great beaches, the many walking trails through the woods, and the wonderful restaurants. The house is very private and the area is serene. The host is a wonderfully friendly, easy going and most accommodating person, always responsive to any need that might come up. The residence is fully equipped for immediate comfort and relaxation. We consider this place our "home away from home".

Rory was very interested in all aspects of our rental with great communication. He personally wanted to make sure all was satisfactory. House was very nice and clean. My family enjoyed our stay on the Cape at this Eastham rental. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms nice sizes. There are two bathrooms plus an outdoor shower. We enjoyed the deck as well. We appreciated having a grill and we made some delicious meals via the grill. The house is on a quiet street and the living room comfortable.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable home. It is centrally located to the restaurants, beaches and activities we enjoy doing on the Cape. There are many amenities that helped us feel like we were at home, and the owner was quite responsive to querries, pleasant to deal with, and to the passing on of information. There was an issue in Provincetown during our stay, and Rory made us aware of this, which was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this gem of a home for a vacation stay.

My family has been coming to the Cape for over 10 years... never has a host offered so much info/pre-vacation check list, etc. as Rory. And he's a wealth of great area fun spots as well... all you need do is ask! Very personal touch! Getting to Nauset Light Beach was so easy - minutes away, but get there by 9 - and get an annual National Park pass if you want to go 3x or more. Also minutes away from the famous bike path, and a short ride to Arnold's for mini-golf and terrific seafood. The house itself is cozy; everything was clean when we arrived. In years past AC on the first floor living/dining area may not have been necessary, but having that option now would be a good upgrade. Finally, while cape rental prices get more and more expensive, Rory has maintained great value. Thanks for a great vacation stay Rory!

We always enjoy our time at this beach house - it's charming, well equipped and well maintained, and its proximity to the National Seashore beaches and the bike path just can't be beat. Can't wait to get back there!

Rory was the consummate host. Very clear and accessible in the lead-up and highly responsive to all questions. The house was extremely clean and well-appointed while still retaining a lot of great Cape charm. Location was perfect— very close to the NPS beaches and everything we like to do. Had a really fantastic week and, honestly, I can't think of a single thing that I would change. Hope to be back next year.

Rory's Cape house is just perfect. Very well kept with every amenity you could need or want for an effortless and enjoyable week on the Cape.

Rory was extremely kind, hospitable, and communicative. He let us know when the house cleaning crew was finished so we could get into the house early. And he was a wealth of information for local activity and dining recommendations, all of which we tried were excellent!

We would highly recommend renting Rory's property for an amazing Cape getaway. We look forward to coming back!

We love this house! Great location relative to Nauset Light and Coast Guard Beaches, furnished and maintained very nicely. And, the owner is constantly putting $$$ back into the house and making little upgrades and improvements. Overall it's a great place to stay on the Outer Cape.

My family stayed here, (grandma, parents and 2 children 1&3) and we were all very comfortable! The house was very clean, the a/c kept us cool at night and the layout of the house gave grandma her separate "area", complete with a king bed and bathroom upstairs.

The house is located at a great location, minutes from beach, bike trail and great restaurants. It is also very private and quiet.

This house was a great, convenient and clean rental for our vacation week. It was fully stocked with all of the essentials and AC units in each room that worked great.

This house comes as advertised. The home has a comfortable open floor plan, it is impeccably clean, nicely decorated and well supplied with every necessity. The house is located on a quite street and has a private yard perfect for backyard cookouts. It is conveniently located to three National Seashore Beaches and two Bay Side Beaches. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is at the end of the street and hiking trails are a short distance away. If you want to be off the grid and yet be close to beaches, shopping, restaurants and ice cream this is the place for you.

The property owner, Rory, is a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating. He always responded to e-mails or text messages promptly and was quick to offer suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We would most definitely recommend this homeowner and his home.

My family had a wonderful time at this property this summer! The home was clean and comfortable. It's in a great location to visit many of the local and National Seashore beaches including being down the road from Nauset Light. It's just under 0.4mi to the Cape Cod Rail Trail; easy access for running and biking, which was great as my sister and I are runners! The home was equipped with all the cooking items we needed to make some meals at home, too. Overall, we really had a great week in Eastham at Rory's home. He was a pleasure to rent from and we would not hesitate to rent this property again!

My family and I have been staying in Eastham at a different house each year for 13 years. This is probably the nicest one yet. The house was immaculate when we arrived. Rory has stocked the house with everything you could ask for. He was also fantastic to deal with and gave us some nice tips on the local scene. We enjoyed the back deck and the beautiful surroundings. The house was more than big enough for the six of us. Everything is as described on the website. We were definitely happy and would return again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our week down the Cape! This house truly had everything we needed and more. Quiet location, yet so close to everything we wanted to do! The house was very well kept, clean and comfortable. The owner was very informative and gave great suggestions for bike trails, hiking, beaches and places to eat! We were hoping that the pictures on line were an accurate presentation of the home, and they were. It was great!

We happened upon this place about 5 years ago upon our retirement and have returned every year to enjoy a Cape Cod get away. This place is very comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. It is very well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedroom are comfortable, and the house is very clean. It is located on a quiet street, 5 minutes to the bike trail, and close to Nauset Lighthouse Beach, Coast Guard Beach and Marconi Beach. Supermarkets and stores are about 20 minutes away in Orleans. There are several good restaurants in the vicinity. Rory is a terrific owner and is very responsive and attentive. Overall, we highly recommend this property.

My husband and I rented this comfortable house for a week July/August 2017. It was very clean and had an open floor plan. The master bedroom is upstairs and private with its own bathroom. We have friends that camp in the Outer Cape so the location in Eastham was perfect for us. The National Seashore beaches were not far and we went to 4 different ones during our stay. Everything you need comes with the house, including a washer and dryer and cable TV. We loved hanging out on the deck which was private. We would definitely recommend this house!

Weather was both pleasant and hot/humid!

We discovered the Wellfleet Bookstore Restaurant! Best Oysters, Mussels! Plus great view of the Ocean! Macs Shack Great seafood, Local Break Best Burgers Ever! Karoo South African Cuisine!
Cannot wait to come back for next summer 2017 season!

I just wanted to thank you for opening your terrific home to us. We had the best luck imaginable weather-wise, and we have enjoyed every single day thoroughly and completely.
Your home is very well equipped and welcoming. We settled right in very quickly and were immediately into our relaxation mode. We love your neighborhood. It is very quiet and private, yet accessible to everything. We took daily walks around the area and also utilized the bike path a number of times.
This home is very well insulated. On the evenings when it was cold we barely had to use your gas fireplace.
We have come to Eastham several times in past years during the summer and the fall. We both thank you for allowing us to rent your home during these weeks around Columbus Day during the early "off season". As much as I enjoy the Cape in the summer, I think I really love it most during the fall when things are quieter and more serene. We enjoyed afternoon walks when we had the bike path almost completely to ourselves.
We look forward to booking in for 2 weeks next year!

The outdoor private woodland setting, including a nice sized deck and outdoor with hot and cold shower, is wonderful!
The house is perfectly situated to enjoy the outer Cape, close to all the adventures including the National Sea Shore, Cape Cod Rail Bike Trail, town beaches, Wellfleet Drive-In, P-Town, and many restaurants to choose from.

Had perfect sunny weather with the usual Cape breeze. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The house was clean, cozy and spacious. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and still close to everything (beaches, bike paths, grocery store, etc). Our family had plenty of room to relax and enjoy our long weekend vacation at this beautiful house.
