Bright, clean, and well maintained, the cottage has a well appointed kitchen, flat screen TV, AC units, wifi and an upgraded cable package. A comfortable sectional sofa complements the living area. There is an extensive wraparound deck with plenty of seating, gas grill and Adirondack chairs. Nearby is a spacious outdoor shower.
Guests have often shared their appreciation for the house and it's central location to so many beautiful beaches, fun activities and delicious place to dine.
Eastham is the "Gateway to the National Seashore" and the Salt Pond Visitor Center is only minutes away. The Center offers exhibits, demonstrations, films and beautiful walking trails. The cottage is within a seven minute drive to seven beautiful Bay side beaches. The Cape Cod Rail Trail bike trail is only a half mile away. One of the Cape's top ten ponds, Great Pond, is about 1/2 mile away. Iconic Nauset Light (displayed on Cape Cod potato chip bags) is a landmark tourist attraction. There are nightly "Sunset Celebrations" at historic First Encounter Beach less than a mile away. On Mondays there are nightly concerts " On The Green" at the Windmill on Samoset Road. <br />

For the youngsters there are multiple mini golf courses, a playground at Wylie Park, and a swimming area close by. Down the street there is a welcoming swimming spot called Herring Pond, which is a great place to cool off when the tide doesn't agree with your schedule.<br />

Nauset Ice Cream, Ben and Jerry's, and The Friendly Fisherman, an open air fresh sea food restaurant, and Arnold's, known for their onion rings, are all minutes away on Route 6. Coast Guard Beach, ranked #10 in the U.S., is also off of Route 6.<br /> <br />
Next door, in Orleans, the Firebirds play at Eldridge Park, in the Cape Cod baseball league, where the best college players in the US play in front of Major League scouts and admission is free. Orleans center is filled with boutiques and one of the best local restaurants, The Land Ho.<br /> <br />
Scenic Rock Harbor features fishing boats coming in with the daily catch and a brand new observation deck. In front of the dock is Captain Cass, a very quaint and unique seafood spot. At the end of the dock is the famous Coast Guard boat (C3G6500) featured in the movie "The Finest Hours" and is available for boarding. Nauset Beach with it's large waves is a popular spot for surfers and spectators. It is ranked # 8 on the list of the 100 most breathtaking views in the US. It it is also Ranked as the # 4 best Beach in Massachusetts.<br /> <br />
Wellfleet, a 10 minute drive, is known worldwide for it's oysters. The Wellfleet Drive In, one of the few left in New England, is a short drive. Beside it is the Wellfleet Cinema, for family nights and rainy days. Marconi Beach is a massive beach with plenty of parking. Another standout landmark is the Beachcomber, a surfer-vibe restaurant, right on the beach in Cahoon Hollow. The WHAT ( Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater) features local actors and is a fun evening out after a nice dinner.<br /> <br />
Truro is within 20 minutes of the cottage and is home to Truro Vineyards, producing some of the Capes' fines wines. It is a great relaxing place to do a vineyard tour and sit in the pavilion, out back in the vineyard, and partake in a wine tasting. Also near the Vineyard is the Atlantic Spice Shop, which sells an abundant array of herbs, spices, and teas for all Foodies. Also, there is the nearby Payomet Performing Arts Center, which offers music performances all summer.<br /> <br />
Vibrant Provincetown is famous for it's art colony, excellent restaurants, and stunning beaches, such as Race Point. It is only about 30 minutes from the cottage, traffic permitting.
