The cottage is well appointed, in a perfect location central to everything on the cape, and host, Steve, is exceptional. The pictures honestly dont do it justice. The cottage is bright and cheery, private, and has what you need. Beach is in walking distance (a mile). There are wooded walking trails and bike trail super close. The gas grill and A/C are appreciated bonuses. The deck is a great place to wind down the day in the afternoon sun.

This was the perfect cottage for my young son and I to stay in for a wonderful week at the Cape. It was very clean and had easy to follow directions posted for the WiFi, television use, etc, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need for food preparation. My favorite thing about this cottage is the wonderful wrap around deck, with furniture to relax in, and a nice table to eat our meals at. We also loved the outdoor shower, which made it so easy to wash off from a day at the beach! The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning made a few hot days/nights very bearable.
Steve was a very thoughtful and kind host, and answered any questions I had expediently. And the washer and dryer were a big plus! My son and I appreciated the beach chairs and other beach items to use as well! We frequented the bay beach as well as Great Pond, which were both very close and easy to access. We are looking forward to next summer already, and another enjoyable stay!

My husband and I had a great week at the cottage! First off, Steve (the owner) was wonderful in answering all of my questions and making sure we were all set. The cottage was very clean upon arrival and very comfortable. The deck is the best part of the house, and I would rent this house just for the deck! There is a nice grill, plenty of different styles of seating and very relaxing. The large couch was also very nice, and the beds are comfortable. I would recommend this home for a small family or a couple!

Thank you, Steve. To potential renters, this cottage has everything that you will need for a great stay. The pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms are good sized with closet space and the deck area was fantastic. The deck seating was varied and comfortable and the the gas grill was a great add for nights when cooking home. There are 3 air conditioners but without humidity, I didn't need to use it much. There is a nice breeze from the 2 sliding glass doors making the cottage bright and airy. The outdoor shower was my favorite, but the indoor had decent water pressure and was clean. The location cannot be beat- just a 1 mile walk down to some of the prettiest sunsets you have ever seen. The drive to the ocean side is also a quick one. There are some great walking trails around the house. Steve was great with communication and cares that you are having a great Cape Cod stay while renting from him. I will definitely come back next year, hopefully for 2 weeks!

My husband and I really enjoyed the cottage… especially the outdoor shower and the deck with all the trees. We made some lovely meals and were really impressed with all the kitchen supplies. We were also amazed at all the beach chairs and kids beach toys in the basement, as well as a washer and dryer. Super helpful!

We also enjoyed the friendly neighbourhood cat and the family of wild turkeys who visited the property. :)

Next time, we'd love to return with our bikes, as the cottage is located very close to a bike path.

We really enjoyed our stay at Steve's cottage and would recommend it highly. The location was ideal for us - close to Herring Pond, First Encounter Beach, and the bike path. The house itself is very comfortable, and we appreciated the outdoor shower and large deck. Steve was a very responsive host.

My husband, daughter and I were fortunate enough to pick this rental for a week. Only wish we could have stayed longer.! We have been vacationing at the Cape for over 30 years. Guess what? This is truly our best "find"!

We stayed here for a week for the first time this summer. It was the perfect size for my fiancé, myself, and two kids. The house is well cared for, all the basic necessary essentials. Very conveniently located near first encounter beach on a very quiet street!!! Plenty of sleeping space, and the beds were very comfortable. The deck was probably our favorite, by far. So spacious for grilling and dinners outside. The outdoor shower is also a nice touch for sandy days. I would definitely stay here again, and definitely recommend if you're thinking about staying here!! The owners were also very responsive and friendly and answered all of our questions! This was our first time staying at this rental and we had an excellent stay. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The location was perfect, close to First Encounter beach, several ponds, bike trail, supermarket.

The house had everything you needed. The deck was spacious, good for grilling and relaxing. My husband enjoyed the outdoor shower. Steve the homeowner was very responsive to our questions. We would stay at this home again.

The cottage is very well-equipped and just as it was described. The deck is large with plenty of seating, lounge chairs, etc. It is surrounded by woods and shrubs, so it feels very private and secluded. Steve, the owner, was very responsive and helpful. We loved it and hope to rent here again.

My husband and I rented this lovely home on short notice in June 2022. We have been renting the same place in Truro for over 25 years but learned it was sold and scrambled to salvage our summer! We loved this Eastham property, from the comfy beds to the well-appointed kitchen to the wrap-around deck. We highly recommend it and hope to return for 2 weeks next summer!! We have stayed at this cottage since 2018. This is our fifth trip. We love the location, it's near the beach, ponds and bike trails. Steve the owner is very helpful, and will answer all your questions. The cottage has a new gas grill that is excellent, it's also very clean & comfortable. We are coming back in October.

We had the best week at this perfect Cape cottage. It had everything we needed and the location was ideal. An easy bike ride to the beach (no parking fees!) and the rail trail. The Eastham Superette just up the road has any necessities you need and awesome sandwiches. Quick 30 minute drive to Ptown. The huge deck is perfect for drying off after your outdoor shower. Quiet neighborhood with little traffic. Can't wait to go back!

This was our first year staying on this property and it did not disappoint!! Everything from the time we booked with Steve, to the time we left was phenomenal! It was so perfect for our family of 4. It was big enough where we didn't climb on each other but not too big.

The porch and chairs outside were great to sit out on (when the mosquitos hadn't come out yet). The grill was a great addition and was used by us almost nightly. The outdoor shower had hot and cold options and my kids thought it was great we could "shower" outside.

The kitchen is extremely roomy. The dishwasher is a little loud, so run that at night (we weren't aware and started it right after dinner one night) the couch is extremely comfortable. The bedrooms were great as well. Beds were really comfy.

It is bring your own linens, don't forget your bath towels (we did that but there was a Christmas tree shop like 10 mins away and we bought some)

I would absolutely stay here again. Steve, the owner, was very informative and helpful. He didn't mind answering any questions. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We had a such a nice week mostly because this house was so wonderful. It had everything including a convenient location to the the bike path, local ponds and a bay beach. We biked everywhere.

The house itself felt comfortable, clean and very accommodating. The outdoor shower is a real plus and the deck is truly relaxing overlooking a natural green forest of trees and shrubs. It felt very quiet and private. Lots of birds too! Overall the house exceeded our expectations.

Have been going to Cape for past 20 years, and have spent the last 6 years at this particular property. Such a convenient, quiet spot. Has everything you need, close to supermarket, restaurants, bike trail, beaches, PTown. Owner Steve keeps the place well maintained, and is a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend this place.

I stayed here with my husband and two young children last week. Everything was just perfect for our family. The house was cozy, clean and well-maintained. It had everything needed for a week away. The spacious deck was perfect for grilling and lounging in the morning and after the beach. In addition, you cannot beat the location of this rental! We were able to easily walk to Herring Pond to fish and swim, and First Encounter bay was a quick one minute drive down the road. My son and I enjoyed the easy access (close to 1/2 mile) to the bike trails in the morning. The owner, Steve, was so accommodating and helpful from the start of our inquiry to the end of our rental. We really hope to stay here again in the future!

Great house! We have stayed in Eastham for years and this rental was one of the most spacious places we have stayed in. It was perfect for me and my husband and our two children (3 and 1). Great location! We did need to quickly childproof the house upon getting there (move a tray of knifes, put cleaners up high, etc) but it took no longer than 5 minutes. Both rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The deck is huge with many places to sit and relax. I was a little nervous using we need a vacation because I had never used it before, however Steve was very professional and mailed a contract to me which made me feel much better. Steve was wonderful to rent from. He was timely in all his emails/responses. While staying at the house we had a freak accident happen with the table on the deck. Steve was there the next day to clean the deck and replace the table. It was a wonderful vacation and I would definitely rent from Steve again!

Excellent, near beaches (ponds and salt water), fishing ( we caught a lot of fish both salt and fresh water), shopping, ice cream and food.

Beautiful deck and outdoor cooking (grill), plenty of seats, air conditioning and washing machine/ dryer amenities are a plus. Quiet lot, birds singing, peaceful, near walking and bike trails.

This was our second year staying at this property. The home is spacious, immaculately clean, and has lovely seaside decor. Great location - Rail Trail, fresh water beaches, hiking trails around the glacial lakes, bay side First Encounter beach are all just a short walk away. It has everything you need for a vacation. The kitchen is well equipped and the deck is a wonderful place for meals and conversations. The outdoor shower is great to wash off after the day at the beach. We had a wonderful time.

I have been staying at this cottage for the last five years. I enjoy it more and more each time! It is in a great location, very spacious, lots of amenities. The owner Steve is a pleasure to deal with. I plan on sticking with it.

We just got back from a week at this property and we really loved it! It is cozy, clean and equipped with everything we needed. The porch is beautiful, and we loved eating outside and relaxing in the sun. The family room/kitchen is comfortable and open. We loved how well located the house is—a quick bike ride to the bike path and to a beautiful fresh water pond for swimming, an easy drive to our favorite bay beach. The outdoor shower is a dream. Steve was very responsive and helpful throughout our process of booking and arranging our stay. We would definitely love to go back!

I stayed at Steve's house with my husband and toddler. The house was private, had a great deck, and was close to the beach. What more could you ask for?!

My wife and I began our anniversary celebration at this lovely cottage. The weather forecast was iffy at best with rain scheduled for at least five of our seven days. We had plenty to do and dodged the rain. We had great bike rides on the rail trail as well as to Coast Guard Beach several times where we walked for miles. One day we went to one of our favorite places—the Audobon Sanctuary in Wellfleet. We went to an excellent show at Wellfleet Harbor Actors' Theater on Route 6. Several trips to P-Town for lunch and dinner. We hung our hammock in the backyard and had two days to hang out there without rain. The outdoor shower is a great treat in this cottage. We watched a lot of fine bird activity sitting on the deck as well. Each day had a trip usually by bicycle to the Hot Chocolate Sparrow in Orleans. We had a great kayak excursion in Nauset Marsh. Finally, after coming to the Cape for many years we discovered the First Encounter River off of First Encounter Beach. We had never known of its existence. All in all there was plenty to do even with little overcast sky and some rain.

This is the second year our family of 4 (two adults, an 11 year old and a 2 year old) has stayed at this cottage and we are already talking about contacting Steve, the owner, about next year.

The house itself is safe, clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything our family needed. It is located close to all of our favorite restaurants and beaches and it's surrounded by quite a few ponds, which we love to walk to as a family.

Steve has been very helpful and accommodating during both of our stays. We had one small issue with the bathroom plumbing and it was resolved the same day. We came back from the beach to find that they had replaced the broken piece and everything was functioning properly.

My stay here was so relaxing, yet I was able to do all my favorite things - sit by the ocean and watch the waves roll in, swim in a warm, crystal clear lake, ride the bike trail, and watch sunsets over the bay. The location couldn't be more perfect. Oh, and outdoor showers! The house was clean and neat. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed. I loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the evening stars. It was just perfect and I plan to go back again next year. Steve was very accommodating and responsive to my questions. It was the perfect rental experience and vacation in every way!

The cottage is very spacious compared to other cottages we have stayed at in the past. It was a treat. It was as described and met all our needs. We did not spend an enormous amount of time at the cottage as we were on vacation to Bike & Kayak. It was nice that it was on a quiet street The weather was a delight which made it easier to bike & kayak and to enjoy Cape Cod's beauty. The location made it easy for my husband and I and our 23 year old daughter to get to the Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking and exploring many beaches and towns. Biking is the best way to get around as traffic is heavy on the Cape in the summer. We loved kayaking in the ponds. We saw some incredible sunsets at First Encounter Beach. It was convenient to have Eastman Superette down the street and made it easy to get breakfast items, beer and sandwiches It was a joy to book with Steve.

We had the best time at this cottage. The pictures are dead on, and what a great location. We were walking distance to a freshwater pond and less than a 5 minute drive to First Encounter, a great bayside beach for my 5 year old grandaughter. The National Seashore is about 10 minute drive. We have been vacationing in the Outer Cape as a family for over 10 years so, needless to say, we already LOVE the area. This particular home was perfect for us because it had everything we needed (fully stocked kitchen, beach gear, laundry room, blankets, pillows, fans, etc...); it was close to bay, ocean and ponds; it was very clean; it was safe for our 1 year old very active boy and it provided enough room for our 10 year old daughter to have quiet alone time at the end of the day to read and unwind.

Steve was friendly and very helpful from the first inquiry to the e-mail I sent after we left.

We had a few rainy days but still had an amazing time! We went to all of our favorites: Wiley Park, Great Pond, everywhere & everything in P-Town, Wellfleet Center and Flea Market, Nauset Light Ice Cream (almost every night), Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro, Nauset Beach and Cookes in Orleans, Catch of the Day Restaurant, VanRensselaer Restaurant, Arnold's, Red Barn, Mac's Seafood and almost every little fishing, clothing and nick-nack store from Orleans to P-Town! We also ventured to some new places and discovered that they are now new favorites: Skaket Beach, Herring Pond and the BBQ restaurant on Rt. 6.

Another highlight was an incredible fishing trip with Reel Deal out of Truro. My husband and daughter caught many stripers, one of which we grilled, enjoyed on the amazing deck and shared with local neighbors (friendly neighbors is another plus). I personally enjoyed the spacious and clean outdoor shower that kept my little one contained while I removed sand, dirt, ice cream and fish from his whole body and hair. I don't know how he does it!

All in all, an amazing vacation at an amazing location. Thank you, Steve!!!

I found this when searching for last minute vacation plans and could not have found a better location and owner to work with. Steve was very timely in responding to my calls and answering all questions before our arrival.

We had 3 adults and 2 children in the house and never felt cramped. The living room is cozy and the kitchen is fully stocked. We spent a lot of our time on the wrap around deck that provided space for the kids to run around while we grilled dinner. There is laundry along with extra beach chairs and toys available downstairs which makes it even more convenient.

There are multiple bay side beaches within minutes, including our favorite spot First Encounter. The kids had a great time playing and not having to worry about the strong currents is a huge plus. The outdoor shower is great and is all we used. Nauset Light ice cream and Arnolds are right up Rt 6 and always visited when we're in Eastham. There is a windmill at the top of the street that you can go inside during the day with a volunteer inside to give you information about the history. Perfect house, perfect weather, perfect vacation. Hoping to be back next year!

This is a great little cottage with a 1980s surf theme, very clean, bright, airy and private. Beds are very firm and comfortable as is the sectional couch. The deck provides an additional spacious outdoor room with a gas grill and outdoor shower. The best part is the location. Around the corner is Herring Pond, a clear, clean, freshwater kettle pond. Down the road is a bayside beach, and up toward Rte. 6 you'll find the bike path and the Eastham Superette, with very reasonable pricing for all your last minute needs. We rented bikes from little Capistrano's bike shop and kept them in the basement, which was loaded with beach chairs and beach toys.

Steve was a dream to work with and we completely enjoyed our stay in Kokomo cottage. It's got everything you need and more!

Stayed at this cozy, beachy, well equipped cottage last year, this year, and plan on sticking with it. So convenient to bike trail, restaurants, library, stores, post office, ocean, and local beaches. The place is well taken care of. Easy parking, everything you need for cooking, books, puzzles, games for rainy days. Huge spacious deck with plenty of seating options. The owner is wonderful to work with. Nice spot to come back to after a long day.

We had a lovely week at this cottage. It is exactly as pictured and very comfortable. There were two of us but it would work well for a family of four. The cottage had those nice comforts like good mattresses on the beds, a nice couch to relax on, a lovely deck, plenty of beach toys and chairs to use, washer, dryer, lots of fans, etc. The cottage is in a great location! Just a short bike ride or walk to the Rail Trail, to Great Pond for swimming, and to First Encounter Beach. This beach is gorgeous. There is a tidal "river" that you can float down when the tide is moving and you can walk for miles at low tide. We are hoping to come back next year. The owner, Steve, was able to answer all questions and was easy and reliable to work with. Thank you for a great week. We did not want to leave.

Our two weeks in this attractive clean home near Herring Pond were delightful. The decor is lovely, beds comfortable, kitchen very well equipped, and everything provided by the owner that vacationers need: Laundry, beach chairs, outdoor shower.
The owner obviously takes pride in sharing his home. In addition, he was very responsive to our needs for a chemical free environment, using non-scented products for cleaning and painting. I highly recommend this home.

We had a very enjoyable week in Eastham. The house was clean, fully equipped. The location of the rental is outstanding, with many fresh water ponds nearby, as well as easy access to First Encounter Beach. The street is private and extremely quiet. Owner is accessible and accommodating. Property is exactly as advertised. Already planning next year's rental.

We looked no further after finding Steve's cottage. It's our second year and you can bet we'll be back year after year .... My family has been coming to the Cape for more than 40 years and we couldn't be more pleased. It is truly a gem. The setting is peaceful, private, and close to everything we want to do when we come to the Cape - biking along the CC rail trail, beaching, hiking, shopping the galleries and hanging out on the awesome wrap-around deck. Steve has been great to work with...He is quick to respond to inquiries and helpful with tips to make our vacation even more enjoyable. His cottage is very well equipped and well kept.

What a great cottage, very bright & cheery. The minute you get here you're greeted by a pot of bright sunflowers on the front porch.

Perfect quiet spot. Cozy, private, serene. Convenient location to beaches, rail trail, restaurants, shopping, and lots more.

Well appointed kitchen, great wrap around deck, open kitchen/comfortable living room. Spacious outdoor shower.

Board games, dvd's for rainy days.

Basement access w/washer, dryer, beach chairs, umbrella. (We brought
bikes and stored them there.)

Nice place to come back to after being out all day.

Owner Steve great guy to work with. Very pleasant with a good sense of
humor, responds quickly if you have questions.

Just returned from a VERY relaxing week at this cottage. Steve, the owner, is a very helpful man and provided me with some information regarding permits, things to do, and some good fishing spots.

The house is a perfect size with all the amenities you need like WiFi, dishwasher, TV and also some nice perks, like an amazing outdoor shower, expansive deck and plenty of beach chairs and supplies in the basement!

There is not one complaint I have and everything was just perfect. I can't wait for next summer!

This is a great spot. The yard is spacious and wooded. Close to rail trail and beach. Quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable bedrooms. Well appointed kitchen. Living room is a great place to hang out and play board games. Large wrap-around deck with nice furniture and a grill. Outdoor shower is clean and the showerhead is like a fire hose! This is an adorable quaint little cottage right off of route 6! Easy to find & convenient to the tourist attractions we wanted to see. It was clean and well equipped with what we needed (grilling stuff, beach chairs, etc. )

It was a five minute drive from the beach, and there was a great little walking trail and bike path right behind the house.

We had an excellent relaxing time on the deck after the beach ! This was our second time there, and there were some recent decorative upgrades that made it even more charming this year.

We really enjoyed ourselves at this cottage! Felt good and right. It was wonderful to be in such close proximity to the bike trail. The bike rental place is relatively close to the house. We loved that we could ride to the beach and come back home for a quick pick me up. It is a very convenient location to everything on the Cape. We rode our bikes to Nauset Light Beach and it was a very fun excursion! The pond nearby is a great walk and we saw people fishing. The cottage is very comfortable and feels good. And the deck is a nice place to lounge. It might need another lounging chair or two though. Steve is pleasant and is responsive to any questions. Best cooked lobsters to be had from Rock Harbor Fish Market that you can bring back to the house and dine on the deck! And beautiful sunsets there too! Side note: Bring bug spray. It doesn't matter where you are on the Cape!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this property. It was the perfect size for the two of us (though it could also easily accommodate another couple or some kids as well.) The furniture was comfortable, and the house had all of the amenities we were looking for. Enjoying cocktails on the wraparound deck after exploring various beaches was the perfect way to end the day. This house is also near the Cape Cod Rail Trail (which easily takes to you to Arnold's- yum!!) and a nice hike to a local pond. A great spot. We will definitely be back. Thanks!!

This has to be my most favorite place I have ever stayed on the Cape. I love Eastham and this home is located in the perfect spot, close to First Encounter Beach. The home was bright, open and airy. The simplicity of it adds to your relaxation. This place has exactly what you need without being overly cluttered with owner/family stuff. Loved the outdoor shower!! Love the owners decor style!! I cannot wait to go back next year.....

Stayed here in 2008 & 2009. Great rental--clean, well maintained, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, quiet road. Homeowner nice, helpful and easy to deal with. Would definitely stay again and would recommend without hesitation.

Wonderful vacation property - the pictures capture the rooms as they are - not photoshopped or taken years ago. Bright beachy feel, comfortable beds and furniture, fully equipped kitchen. Very clean and well maintained. Each time we have returned, additional improvements were made. Awesome to wake up to the smell of salt air, brew a pot of coffee, enjoy the morning on the deck (adirondack chairs and chaise lounges)...spend the day at the beach (several nearby) or pond and then to take a shower outside or in, barbecue on the huge deck in a private wooded area. We brought our bikes to ride on the Cape Cod Rail Trail - less than a 5-minute ride from the property. We have visited three times in September, once in August. We brought our kids when they were younger, great for a family. Now we usually have friends stay with us for a night or two... they love it too. I wish we had the whole summer to enjoy this idyllic spot. Steve provided information about local services and returned calls promptly. Super nice guy, super vacation rental. Definitely recommended - two thumbs up.
