Gail- thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful house!! The apartment was perfect for our college aged girls- they had a blast! We spent more time kayaking and paddle boarding than we ever have because of the convenience and access to the dock! Everything was perfect and you were so responsive!!

We have been renting on the cape our whole lives. This year we needed a rental that would handle a few more people. The additional apartment filled that role perfectly. Normally we stay with 6 people and Cape Escape was able to handle 8 people without feeling cramped. We regularly used the back porch and picknik table for our large family dinners. The apartment and the main home are very well appointed with kitchen supplies and beautifully decorated as well. The additional den or living space in the main home was perfect for our child to hang out in and play while not disturbing the adults while talking or watching a movie in the main living room. The dock access is great and would be perfect to launch a sea kayak. We used it all week for our inflatable boat. We will definitely be booking again here in the future.

Rented this for my sister and brother-in-law and my daughter and her 3 kids, ages 3-1/2,5-1/2, and 7-1/2. It was perfect. The couple had their own private space in the apartment and there was plenty of room in the main house when my husband and I joined them all for meals. Great yard for h the e kids and the little cove beach was a great for finding horseshoe crabs.

Great place - Excellent Location
We enjoyed staying in the Cape Escape. There is plenty of room to relax both inside and outside of the house. Gail has an easy check-in / check-out system and she was easily accessible. The association beach is a short walk away, great option if you have a boat or canoe. We loved the location of this house. Everything you need is a short driving distance - two very nice beaches, plenty of restaurants, shops, etc... in the area. We had a short stay this year but hoping to come back with extended family for a longer stay in this house next year.

Our weekend at this beautiful home was just perfect. The house was spotless and stocked with anything and everything we needed for a perfect weekend. The moment we arrived we felt comfortable and relaxed., we enjoyed sitting outside on the huge private deck every evening, just lovely!!! The location was amazing with our own private beach shared only with our small neighborhood, and close to all restaurants and shopping. We can’t wait to return next year!!!! Thank you again for making our weekend getaway perfect!

My sister's family and my family (9) stayed at the house for a week. It's conveniently located off Route 6, and the neighborhood is very quiet and serene. We loved walking to the little beach in the morning and taking in the beauty. The house worked out well for all of us, and the deck was my favorite part of the house and how we connected with each other! The homeowner, Gail, was extremely helpful, checks in before, during and after vacation week. Couldn't have been more pleased!!

We had a fabulous stay in Eastham at this lovely home. Beautifully decorated with modern appliances and a well appointed kitchen, this home was perfect for our family. The private pier and beach area are a short walk away and provided hours of fun for the children. In the evenings we really appreciated how convenient Eastham is to nearby restaurants. We always had the option to eat out or to enjoy the lovely backyard and deck after preparing our own meals. I cannot recommend this home more highly. We have stayed in many rental properties and this one is among the best. Book it while you still can!

My three sisters and I stayed at Cape Escape for three nights in late September. The house was perfect for us - very clean, fantastic location, and we each had our own bedroom! The kitchen was well-equipped. We love cooking together but couldn't resist the local seafood and brought home delicious clam chowder, fish and chips, and steamed fresh lobster. Sitting on the dock in the early morning was serene - beautiful water views, birds, and quiet. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Gail, the owner, was wonderful to work with. Highly recommended!

The location for this property is perfect. It is centrally located on the Cape and close to everything (Ptown, Chatham, Beachcomber, shopping, and some of the best beaches on the Cape). The street is nice and quiet with beautiful views of the cove leading out to the ocean at the end of the road. The house was perfect for us with a few families and several children. We all had plenty of our own space. Inside is super clean with everything you need. Outdoor shower was great for after the beach especially with the kids. Would definitely rent this property again.

Hi to prospective renters,
Over the years, we have rented dozens of Cape houses as well as properties around the world. My wife and I were married in Chatham. While we have stayed in more expensive houses in Chatham and Orleans, this Cape property is the best overall we have found for many reasons. Location - the location of this house is amazing, it's close to the best grocery store on the Cape, Stop and Shop less than a mile, liquor stores are close by as well as a Marshalls and much more. Keep in mind, Cape traffic can be a real pain and having all this close by with great restaurants can save you hours of traffic. The beaches are also close as well as many of the best towns. The beach at the end of the road (1 minute walk) is outstanding for kids. No pass needed and it comes with its own private, very large dock. When all the beaches are full and folks are waiting an hour plus to get in, you can walk or drive down to the beach 1 minute from your house and have a great day. This is a huge bonus!

The house itself is furnished tastefully with the main house having two bedrooms. There are two living rooms and one can be closed off to make a third bedroom with ease. We used one for the kids' playroom and the other for the adults. Both have their own TV's so if you're a family, the adults don't have to watch Spongebob for hours on end. Wifi in the house and guest house is perfect, we had no issues, another rarity on the Cape. The kitchen in the main house has everything including a full set up for cooking and eating lobsters. There is also an outstanding grille outside on the large back deck with a great table and a second seating area. The house has plenty of storage including a basement for storing luggage. The dining room can easily accommodate 8 people. The house is clean and I say that as a family that's picky. The main house master bedroom has one queen bed very comfortable and a great master bath with a shower and Jacuzzi tub that worked well. There is also an outdoor shower that was so much fun for the kids. The second bedroom in the main house has 2 twin beds that can be put together to make a Cal-King. Plenty of closet space and additional closets for more space if needed. The second bedroom also has a full bath and shower next to it.

The guest apartment has a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms. It's nice to have the guest apartment not connected through the house but right next door. We had our in-laws and others stay there without interrupting our space in the main house. There are two driveways with enough parking for 6 cars.

One of the best features of both houses is the air conditioning. You will be told as you look for a Cape house by those trying to rent to you, that it's cool by the water, hardly will need air conditioning, it's a giant lie! It gets hot and humid on the Cape and it's downright unpleasant. In addition, without A/C the humidity is so bad the house will smell. The air conditioning is a HUGE bonus in this house and it worked great.

The last factor for me in renting anywhere is the owners or management company. The owners of this house are attentive, warm and wonderful folks. They and relatives dropped off steamers for us a few times (they got at the beach 1 min from the house), had a relative pick up packages for us we shipped in early from Amazon for our arrival and went so far above and beyond for us words can't express our gratitude. I have never felt more welcome and safe with any rental anywhere in the world.

Lastly, we have kids and when we rent we are always worried about wear and tear from our family. This house was well furnished but we were not worried, it's designed to make you feel at home without worrying about a $10,000 silk sofa. This house is an outstanding value. We rented for a month plus and found nothing to complain about. We had a wonderful stay, it was a relaxing Cape Cod summer.
