Beautiful Home with Fantastic Sunsets over the Bay

Perfect summer cottage in a quiet, rural setting. Tastefully decorated with all the kitchen needs required for summer meal preparations on the Cape. Two decks allow for entertainment or quiet reading, one of which allows for spectacular ocean, sunset views. Close to beaches, restaurants, shops, etc. Owners were easy to deal with and accessible. We highly recommend this home.

We've been going to the Upper Cape for years. When our family sold that property, we decided to explore the Outer Cape. This home is in a perfect location to explore everything from Orleans to Provincetown. Eastham is away from the "hubbub" of the Mid-Cape madness. The Wellfleet line is not far and is a great town for restaurants and beaches. Indian Neck Beach was one of our favorites for sunsets and allowed for great family photos on the beach. The National Seashore, with Coast Guard and Marconi Beaches, are right nearby. A short walk takes you to Sunken Meadow Beach on the bay side, which, when the tide is out, allows for long walks out into the bay, plus magnificent sunsets.

This 2 bedroom home has sparkling hardwood floors as it greets you. It is warm and cozy with 1 1/2 baths and a great outdoor shower, which on a warm evening after the beach, is so inviting and relaxing. The kitchen is nicely equipped with granite counter tops, new microwave, dishwasher and gas stove. The expansive sliding glass doors open to 2 levels of decks. The main deck is very large and has plenty of seating and dining areas. It is perfect for enjoying the morning coffee, reading a book, and having dinner right from the gas grill outside as the sun lowers. The upper deck a cozy spot for reading a book, allows for views of the bay off Sunken Meadow Beach. The central A/C came in handy on the really humid days, otherwise, the ventilation was great with the sliders open.

Our family of 4, with two teenage daughters, had a relaxing and comfortable vacation in this nicely located and equipped home. show more show less

We have spent the last several summers on the Cape. This was our first year at this property. It was clean, modern, and roomy. It has a wonderful deck (two levels!) for meals, coffee, cocktails and reading. Amazing view. The location gives great access to National Seashore beaches which we love as we had teenagers with us. The bayside beaches are also very close for walking and enjoying sunsets. We enjoy going to Provincetown which is not too far away. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Great access to bike trails. The owner is very responsive and available as needed. You will not be disappointed with this rental. show more show less
