Description

This is a gem of a house heading into its fifth season on the rental market. With 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, this renovated home is located on a quiet, private road nestled between the bike trail (1/6 mile away) and the Cape Cod National Seashore Visitor Center (1/4 mile away). Enjoy a very short walk to the iconic windmill on the Green or Superette with the stunning library also right down the street. Bay beaches are 1 1/2 miles away with public beach access at Great Pond even closer.

The kitchen is completely redone with all updated appliances, cabinets, and countertops. Eight, comfortable, custom stools are seated around a large butcher block table in the attached dining area. The kitchen area flows into the family room with a new, large sectional couch and upholstered arm chairs. A bank of Anderson windows look over the backyard and a sliding door opens onto the deck. Numerous high-quality seating is available on deck and in the adjacent fire pit area. There is a main floor queen bedroom, laundry room, and half bath. The second floor has a king bedroom, queen bedroom, an open, light-filled loft with two twin beds and a beautifully tiled bath. All mattresses and bedding are new. The lower level apartment has a separate entrance, with its own full bath. It is ideal for in-laws and teens. Guests also enjoy the ‘tiny house’ hangout in the backyard — adorable with comfortable seating, windows looking out over property, ceiling fan, and deck.

A top rental property for us - high quality all around!

We've rented 17+ homes over 20 years and this is one of our top 3! The photos are accurate but it's even nicer in person. The house worked well for two weeks for our group of 7 ranging in age from 23 to 87. Highlights: owners responsive before and during our stay; home is well-maintained and all furniture, appliances, cabinets etc. are in excellent condition; effective A/C; location so convenient to beaches (bay, ocean, pond), restaurants, groceries, bike rental/path, and stop lights to turn left on Rte 6; well-equipped kitchen; code lock convenient - never had to worry about where a key was; the "tiny house" / shed to store chairs, cooler etc and as separate hangout space; large upstairs bathroom with lots of counter space and room for more than one at a time; smart TV so we could watch our streaming channels and cast from our devices; large yard with space for yard games and to watch birds use the feeder. I highly recommend this property. show more show less

Cannot say enough about this house!!

We have been coming to The Cape for 25 years and renting homes. I am picky- very picky about cleanliness. This home is spotless. The pictures do not do it justice. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need and all is good quality. Beds comfortable. The downstairs apartment has a separate entrance so that was a perk for the grown children. Note that there is no entrance from the main house- completely separate and private. The upstairs bathroom is giant with an amazing shower. />
The outdoor space is like no other place I have stayed - bucolic really- grill, good quality outdoor furniture and a fire pit- also ducks on a pond. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into every aspect of this home. If I had to come up with a con- and I am reaching here- there are only shower stalls- no tubs so if you have little ones it could be an issue.

The owners are very responsive but not intrusive. I can go on as I am sure I forgot some things but just know you will not find a better place in Eastham.

Comfortable & Quiet Spot in heart of Eastham

The house was great! Very clean and comfortable - great A/C and a lot of space in the yard. Location on a very quiet lane near the lake and bike trail was perfect - and it was only a 3 minute drive down side street to First Encounter Beach which has plenty of parking for non-residents. Owners were easy to work with and left us a nice bottle of wine in fridge. We also got our security deposit back the same day we checked out via Venmo, which worked really well to make deposit and final payment. show more show less

    Great Location and Quiet.

Set on a quiet dead end private road, this house is a gem. The house was well supplied and clean. Lots of space and amenities. Short walk brought you to a fresh water pond beach as well as the town square. A ten minute drive to the National Seashore beaches. Coffee on the deck in the morning watching the birds and listening to them sing. Quiet location even though it was close to Route 6. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this house without hesitation. Tim and Tiffany were excellent hosts. show more show less

    Perfect location / beautiful house

We have been vacationing on the Cape for years, this is our first experience at this house. Where to start. The location fantastic. The property is right in the center of everything the Cape has to offer. The Rail Trail is minutes away for any biking or evening walks. To the west are the ponds and the bay side access. Right across the street is the National Seashore trails taking you to the lighthouses and the beaches. You are minutes from attractions, grocery stores, and a wide variety of restaurants.

The house was very well cared for and nicely renovated. It is comfortably decorated, and well stocked with all the necessities. There was plenty of beds, with large comfortable rooms. The lower level is a great private area allowing lots of extra space. The kitchen was open and the layout of the living room was perfect for gatherings. The yard is well landscaped and perfect for lounging or letting the kids play, including the essential outdoor shower.

Tiffany and Tim were excellent to work with! They were attentive and quick to respond to our questions. Very informative and accommodating. Thank you both so much for making this so easy and such a great experience.

We had such a good time, we were planning the next visit before we hit the bridge on the way home.

My husband, Tim, and I are recent homeowners in Eastham, MA. We are new to the rental market and have been really enjoying every aspect of the business. Our entire family has been involved in prepping the house and Tim and I manage day-to-day operations.

What is special about this property?
We purchased the property because of its irresistible location in central Eastham with a very large private lot, two houses away from Depot Pond. The home is about 10 houses away from the historic windmill on the green and Superette and only 700 walking steps from the bike trail. The grounds have established plantings that include hydrangeas, roses, iris, and a grape arbor, to name a few. The house has been fully renovated and all beds and upholstered furniture are brand new. The kitchen has all new appliances and cabinets. Bedrooms are spacious, with many possible sleeping arrangements. The first several renters have told us it is the cleanest house they have rented on Cape and all have given it rave reviews.

What is special about your town?
Eastham is a quaint New England beach town with many opportunities for outdoor adventures. With the bike trail running from end to end, you have access to ocean and bayside beaches (both about 1 1/2 miles away) as well as several fresh water ponds with public access. Every Monday the concerts on the green are popular, and craft shows on the green are a huge draw. Hiking trails are abundant. For those enjoying dining out on their vacations Eastham and surrounding towns offer a great selection of restaurants.
