Could not have spent a more enjoyable or restful week! The house is spacious, well-appointed, comfortable and designed to capitalize on Cape Cod's beautiful air and light. The neighborhood is friendly, quiet and perfect for long walks, runs, bike rides and bay beach-combing. It feels secluded but it's only minutes away from restaurants, stores and the National Seashore ocean beaches. Arlene and Steve are perfect hosts. Thank you!

This was a great house in great location, very clean. The house feel mirrored the pictures provided. The neighborhood was very quiet and comfortably accommodated two couples with 2 toddlers under 15 months. This is a true three BR so it may be challenging with kids as they get older and need to sleep in their own room. The hosts were very responsive and were kind enough to leave coffee and some snacks for the kids as well which was appreciated.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our 1 week stay at Arlene and Steven's beautiful home. My family of 4 has rented many homes in Cape Cod over the years, and we all agreed that this home was best, by far. It is open, airy, clean, odorless (big deal to us!), and in an ideal location in N. Eastham, convenient to beaches, restaurants, and Wellfleet. Arlene and Steven provided a thoughtful welcome bag and a binder of useful information. Their caretaker Glenn introduced himself upon arrival and gave us advice in case Hurricane Henri caused problems (which it didn't). We had a brief power outage during our stay (not the house's fault), and the owners and Glenn took care of the issue immediately. Having a private bay beach 0.1 mi away was amazing. The view of the sunset and the bay from the rooftop deck is spectacular. The kitchen and outdoor grill were terrific. Seriously, I could go on and on. Stayed 2 weeks at this home in north Eastham. Arlene and Steve were top notch hosts. Welcoming us into their beautiful,well appointed home with local information guides, a care package and great advice. The pre-visit email was really helpful in answering our questions and allowed us to pack less, as they had beach chairs, umbrella and a full equipped kitchen waiting for us.

The views from the house were beautiful, especially the sunsets from the two top decks. The large kitchen was great and We grilled and ate in most of our meals outside or in the open kitchen. There was shade on the lower deck and an outside shower to rinse off after a day at the beach or kayaking. The tide clock told us exactly what the beach would be like at any particular hour and helped us plan our activities each day.

Both my young adult children had their own private spaces as well. The cape can be busy in August but this home allowed us to have a private vacation with uncrowded beach access just a short walk any time we wanted. We saw American Goldfinch, Cardinals, chickodees and woodpeckers and shore birds and Osprey flew by every day. The property has lots of pitch pines for an authentic cape cod feel and the neighborhood was pretty quiet after 9pm.
