Having spent 62 summers on the cape, when the opportunity presented itself for this lovely cottage at Chase's Ocean Grove, we were thrilled. We now stay at our other cottage nearby on Swan Pond and have this cottage for family and friends overflow. We love that our guests can walk to Nantucket Sound when the town beaches are super busy. I prefer to rent the cottage for 32 day summer rentals for those yearning to escape for the season. June, August and September are currently available if this is of interest to you. Rental rates are favorable this way and will not be charged the hospitality tax. No pets.

The outside beauty gives a Nantucket feel, but with the convenience of being in the private community of Chase's Ocean Grove with 1,000 feet of private beach front, warm ocean water and soft sand. Sea Rose cottage is located on the edge of the neighborhood and has privacy that is rare here. The side yard shades you from the afternoon sun and the backyard is sunny. The side entrance is perfect for returning from the beach, throwing your towels on the mermaid hooks and having an outdoor shower. Renovations included home lifted and piers added underneath, new roof, new siding, electric 100 amp, new aztek deck, new walkways, new luxury vinyl floors, updated kitchen, new oven/stove, updated bathroom, renovated back yard and new patio, outdoor shower, kitchen counters and bathroom sink for summer 2026.

Dennis Port is a popular seaside resort town along the picturesque, warm waters of the southern Nantucket Sound. Walk to Pelham house for cocktails, brunch and dinner. Short drive to Woolfies bakery. Kayaking, hiking, boating, miniature golf, go carts, so many activities are close by. Enjoy the miles of exploration at Crowe's Pasture Conservation a short drive over to the bayside. Dennis Port is perfectly situated on the cape to visit all points east and west. It has a super cute town center and some really nice shops and restaurants. For culture buffs there's the Cape Cod Museum of Art openings, music and more concerts and independent film series along with the world renown Cape Cinema as well as several other fabulous art galleries and artisans along 6A. Kayaking in nearby Swan River, biking the Cape Cod Rail Trail, co-karts, miniature golf and hiking trails all nearby.
