Our home is located on a quiet street and features a large well-maintained yard, new outside shower, new enlarged deck and plenty of parking---perfect for families looking for a relaxing week near the beach!

The main floor is all hardwood floors with 3 bedrooms, air conditioning, ceiling fans, 1 1/2 baths, working fireplace and washer and dryer. The master bedroom is equipped with a new queen bed, a new double bed is located in the second and the third bedroom has a great child's lofted bed.

The finished basement has a '70s vibe and features a pool table, bar and space that will allow kids to play while adults relax.

    Not quite ready

    This house is in a great location with a very nice backyard. It's in a quiet neighborhood and close to beaches, restaurants and shops. Central air was awesome as well as the new outdoor shower. Nick was easy to get a hold of and always responded to texts/emails. This is first summer this was a rental property and it just wasn't The quite ready to be one. The house is lacking some basic amenities like a microwave, toaster, comfortable living-room furniture, blinds/curtains in the main living/dining areas for privacy, a dresser or closet in second bedroom to put clothing/belongings and basic cable on the one TV. Many of the drawers in kitchen are broken so it was frustrating trying to search in them to find kitchen utensils, etc. We couldn't use basement area as it was very stuffy and smelled of mildew and cobwebs were everywhere. show more show less

It is important to me that our guests have a positive experience in our home and enjoy their vacation and I do wish you had reached out to us regarding the cobwebs in the basement and mildew smell as I would have responded immediately to your concerns.

    You may not be aware that We Need a Vacation has a tab for potential guests to make sure the home they rent has all the appliances they need. We advertised that we have a coffee maker, but not a toaster and microwave. I told you before you booked that our home does not have cable television and am sorry to hear that you were unable to use any of the apps or bring the firestick that you mentioned in your email correspondence. Again, I wish you reached out and I could have assisted you in navigating this technology.

    I am sorry to hear that our furniture was not to your taste, including the brand-new couch that was backordered for month or the outdoor furniture that we purchased in May 2022. Unfortunately, the guest bedroom is small and does not include a closet. You may not have noticed the empty closet and dresser in our son's bedroom.

    wonderful rental with a great host

    We had a wonderful time staying here. The property is beautiful and very private. The house came with many amenities including beach equipment (2 chairs, sand blanket/towel, and umbrella), outside shower and plenty of outdoor seating. The finished basement is a fun hang-out area if the weather turns. It was very hot the week we were there and the central AC was so appreciated! The property is within walking distance to Campground Beach on the Bay, and made for a wonderful way to start and end the days. Nick is a great host, always quick to respond to any question or need we may have had. I highly recommend staying here if you plan to be in the Eastham/Wellfleet area. show more show less

    Clean, spacious home in a great Eastham location

    Nick is an excellent host. The house has a large, private backyard with a new deck and outdoor shower. The Weber grill and gas smoker were nice to have as was the TV with Disney + and multiple other apps. 2 beach chairs and beach towels were also provided. Plenty of room and parking for our family of 5. We hope to be back next year!

    What is special about this property?
    We love the large yard and quiet street that our son gets to play in. The a/c and proximity to the beach does not hurt either!

    Eastham is home to the Cape Cod National Seashore. We get to enjoy the beaches, hiking trails, bike paths and fresh water ponds year round
