Wrapped by its own seawall, our light-infused house sits right at the water's edge of Kingsbury Beach. Step out the door, and you are on the sandy beach with 180 degree of fantastic views of the Cape Cod Bay. Life on Cape Cod is about the water -- the feel of it, the sound of it, the fun of it, the access to it, and you can have it all at your doorstep. You simply cannot vacation any closer to the water! While lounging at the beach, you don't have to bring anything with you. Leave your cooler behind -- the house is steps away. Or enjoy a glass of wine from the comfort of your porch, while watching your kids playing on the beach. There are many ways to spend the day on Cape Cod, but there is definitely no better way to end one than by watching the spectacular sunset over the water right in front your house. By then, the cool breeze will caress you, the sounds of nature will entertain you, and the breathtaking evening colors will magically touch your dreams. Our most recently renovated house has a total of 4 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms upstairs, and 2 bedrooms downstairs. The 2 baths(one full, one half) are downstairs, and in addition, there is an outdoor shower. The brand new kitchen has granite countertop and stainless steel appliances. Other conveniences include high speed wireless internet access, beach chairs, and for the kids: beach toys, a collection of 100+ movies, and card and board games. Maximum of 8 people, 2 cars.

Wonderful vacations are made here

We have been coming here for many years and have always had an amazing time. Kingsbury Beach is the perfect spot with enjoyable swimming at high tide and sandbars at low tide. Enjoyable to just walk out forever, or for families to build sandcastles or play games.

The home is on the beach and only steps away from the water. Jenny and Eric are lovely people who really want you to enjoy your vacation. They are very easy to work with, and have maintained their home very well. It is open and airy, always very clean, and has all of the necessities one would need. You cannot beat eating meals on the porch or lying in bed listening to the waves. The sunsets from here are spectacular! This is a perfect family vacation spot and one our family looks forward to every year. show more show less

Perfect!

We stayed here in July and it was perfect! Couldn't have asked for more in terms of the house, the amenities and the location, location, location! We have summered at the Cape for years and love it, but there is always the drama of packing up, heading to the beach, hiking from the car, etc., With this house we had none of that, the beach was literally ten steps from the house. We had occasion to be in touch with the owner while we were there and she was extremely responsive and lovely to deal with. We look forward to hopefully returning next year for another perfect family vacation! show more show less

Beautiful Property, Wonderful Vacation

We had such a lovely week at this waterfront property. You can't get closer to the sand if you tried. The screened in porch is beautiful, and you can't beat eating dinner as you watch a gorgeous sunset. Kingsbury was such a pretty area. What a lovely spot for kids to play in the tide pools and sand. The house had all the items/amenities that you would need. Jenny was great to work with. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and beautiful property. You won't be disappointed!!!!

A Perfect Spot!

We stayed here in May of 2006 and have tried ever since to come back. Living in California makes it hard. Jenny and Eric were so great to deal with, and we had the most wonderful time. The weather was dramatic and beautiful, and we absolutely hated to leave. We will make it back one of these days, because Sur La Mer was a superb spot for relaxing and enjoying life.
