Loved this cottage! Walking distance to a coffee shop and an Irish pub. You can have your morning coffee at the dock a few doors down and watch the boats. The house is clean and comfortable with a private back deck for relaxing. Owners are wonderful.

This was our second stay at this cottage, we had a great time again. The bass river is a short walk down the dirt road. We spent a lot of time on the dock area in the mornings and the evenings, the kids swam in the river and said it was comfortably warm. The cottage is in very good condition and had everything and plenty of room for my wife our two kids and me. We will not be able to go back this year, but I hope we will be able next year.

We had a great time with our kids in this cottage last summer. The cottage was clean and updated. It is bright and has a view of the water from the back rooms in the house. It is close to the road but we spent most of our time in the back yard which has a nice deck with a view of the cove/river. There is a nice landing at the end of the private street where we spent a lot of evenings and mornings, you can swim from there but we went to the town beaches to swim most of the time.

There is laundry and a dishwasher which most of the rentals I have rented in West Dennis or Dennisport do not have. I would rent it again for my family and would recommend it for friends. show more show less

Thank goodness the house was bright airy and comfortable because the weather the week we rented was not the best. The house was clearly updated with light modern colors giving it a very appealing and comfortable feeling. It was not dated and stuffy like many cottage rentals.

The location worked perfect for our needs. When we first saw the actual location we were concerned that is was so close to a major road. But once you were in the house or the yard you did not realize you were close to a major road and it made going to the beach or grocery shopping that much easier. It was nice that the Bass River was at the end of the short road so we could sit and watch the sunset or just look at the river.

All in all a nice rental property which I would rent again. show more show less

This house W. Dennis was the absolute best house I've ever rented, and I've been renting at the Cape for 21 years! It was spotless, beautiful, spacious and in a great location with a beautiful view out of the back yard. The house had everything we needed and more. It made our vacation perfect! I can't wait to go back!

We recently stayed at John's well appointed and very comfortable property in Grand Cove. The house was perfect for our family with 2 kids (11 & 7). Very clean and enough space for the kids to find their own little areas. The best part of the house is the direct access to the water, the kids could head down on their own safely with no traffic. Sunsets from the bench with glass of wine in hand were incredible. The neighbors were all very nice and welcoming as well. John gave us the use of a canoe which we took full advantage of in the calm waters of Grand Cove. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone and will be going back. show more show less

Our family of five had a wonderful Fourth of July holiday in this charming cottage. The house is recently remodeled with plenty of room for the five of us, it has lots of private parking with a private yard and outdoor shower. The house is next to a beautiful private landing where we all swam each day, the water was so much warmer than the Northern California Pacific!. There are lots of restaurants and great coffee shop across the street. The area has plenty of wonderful beaches, great little towns and bike lanes that took us to both ends of the Cape!. This house really helped make one of the best vacations we ever had. Thank you. show more show less

We had a great time at the cottage. The Cove is great for a morning breakfast coffee (if you are up for sunset) or a glass of wine for sunset in the evening. Our kids enjoyed the cove for swimming. The cottage is updated and had everything that we needed. The deck and shower area are great (they seem new). This was a great place to enjoy cape cod and Dennis. We love the north shore beaches, but West Dennis beach is great and is close by.

Phyllis G.Our host John was very accommodating. The cottage is a great space, adequately sized to sleep our family of 4 with room for more. The interior is brand new, super clean and only steps away from the water. Privacy in the front and back yard was great and the out door shower was a delight. Would strongly recommend anyone needing to stay in Dennis check this place out. Will certainly look forward to renting the space again. show more show less
