Yarmouth House- Walk to Beach and Area Attractions
South Yarmouth Vacation Rental - ID 11405

After years of using hotels for our annual summer trek to the Cape, a new dog made us investigate a cottage rental for this years' vacation. Through the entire process, as a first time renter, Chris was very helpful, and answered all the "how to" questions I had. The cottage itself was spacious, with a comfortable living area/kitchen, and good sized bedrooms. The large, fenced in backyard gave our Black Labrador, plenty of space to roam, and make herself at home. Neighborhood was quiet for the most part, and with the deck (also fenced in), we were able to relax and even catch a few rabbit and wild turkey sightings. Amenities like the Satellite TV, and new BBQ got plenty of use as well. Overall, it might have been the best week we've spent down on the Cape in years. House was perfect for my family of 6. The layout is nice and open and the location is great. Will definitely come back again.

This well maintained 3-bedroom cottage is spacious, kid and pet friendly, and is located off the beaten path. The large, gated deck and fenced-in backyard is perfect for our fur babies. The neighborhood is quiet and great for walking; the beach is a short 10-minute walk from the cottage.

Although a great location--not far from Parker's River Beach--this cottage could not look less like the photos posted here. Upon arrival, we found clumps of human hair in one of the bedrooms. The floors had not been swept and the dust had not been wiped off of the fans nor other surfaces for some time. Nothing was as stated; there were supposedly two remote controls per TV (i.e. one for the television and the other for the Roku) and the latter was nowhere to be found. There were also ants in the master bedroom, and the lovely bushes in the pictures above, were terribly overgrown, which made it hard to enter and exit the property. In addition, the two-in-one washer/dryer would heat the contents until they burned to the touch, but were not dry after cooling off. The owner was very quick to return our text messages but unfortunately, this was not the cottage in the photographs (some of which are from 2005 and 2006). show more show less

We enjoyed our stay at Chris’s beach home. It was the perfect size for us. The fenced in yard was loved by our puppy. The location was just right. So many beaches around.

Best vacation we have had in a long time. If you're looking for a fun, relaxing time, this place is it. The house was exactly what we were looking for. Spotless and inviting. Nicely and comfortably decorated. Perfectly situated to beach and entertainment for the kids. Fully equipped. We wanted for nothing. Nice peaceful setting. Owner was available if needed and was great. Looking forward to renting again next year
