We have been renting on the Cape for 15 years and well north of two dozen homes -- handful in P-Town, a handful in Sandwich, one in Falmouth, and most of the time on the Sound in Dennisport, West Yarmouth, South Yarmouth and Hyannis (Barnstable). This house was brilliantly laid out, custom designed by the owners, who thought of every aspect of life. It was spacious and absolutely immaculate. Not a spec of dust, a stray spiderweb, piece of lint, etc. The cabinets and dressers and counters were clutter free, with tons of space for the renters' belongings. All the silverware, china, utensils, pots, pans were immaculate, new and in perfect condition, organized like a store display. Every mechanical system and all appliances functioned perfectly. There was not one missing or burned out light bulb. The bathrooms were spacious and the tiling job was magnificent. The views were stunning. Ample parking. Wifi. Multiple high end flat screen TVs. Functioning grill, ample propane, even including the electric starter. It is really hard to try to even find a constructive criticism for this house.
The homeowners were delightful, thoughtful, considerate, caring and bent over backwards to make sure their tenants were happy. They even gave us a bottle of wine and a small "arrival gift." That is a first. This house, the owners and the trip was a "10" in all respects. They even thanked us for taking good care of their home. I say all this against my own self interest because now everyone is going to want to rent it and it will never be available for us again. Winner. Oh, and this is in one of the best neighborhoods on the Cape. We are 5 time renters in this neighborhood. BTW, I have never written a review before this, so hopefully it's not too rambling.
