We now own seven rental properties in the Lewis Bay area – our primary area of focus.

The Santana Manor needs no Black Magic Woman to transform this space; we've already done it! This cottage is completely renovated (2017) and equipped with 3.5 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, vaulted ceilings, stone countertops, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, a 40'' Flat Screen TV (with Comcast HD Box & On-Demand), and everything you'll need to enjoy the beach and the outdoors. We've added an impressive outdoor shower, grilling area, and stone fire pit in the oversized, professionally landscaped backyard. Play guitar by the fire or head down to the nearby beaches to watch the sunset over Lewis Bay.

The biggest of our seven rental properties, the Santana Manor sleeps 8 comfortably. See details below:

MAIN BEDROOM: Queen bed with a small kick-out bedroom w/ an additional single Twin bed. (sleeps 3)

2ND BEDROOM: Trundle bed (that pulls out into a King bed). (sleeps 2)

3RD BEDROOM: Converts to a 2nd Living Room or can be used as a 2nd Master w/ Master Bath & Washer/Dryer. This allows for separation from main living area with full-size collapsible futon bed plus 2 additional roll-away beds for extra sleeping. There is also a 39'' HD TV with Blue-Ray/DVD player. (sleeps 3)

This could be an ideal rental for two families vacationing together. Located close to mini golf, Pirate’s Cove, shopping, dining, public beaches along Nantucket Sound, and other popular Cape Cod attractions.

Great Place but....

The house is in very good condition, the layout is great for large families. We easily fit 6-7 people off and on throughout the week. Owners were pleasant to deal with but there were a few issues with the house. Smoke detector in the main family area was on a table with no batteries in it, the futon in the master bedroom was broken and unsafe to use (apparently happened the week before) and the several of the bedroom and the bathroom doors didn't lock. The agreement states there is plenty of firewood in the back, however I was told after we got there that the firewood was off limits so I had to buy it. Most disturbing, other than a disconnected smoke detector, was the discovery of a larger wasp nest in a tree in the back (about the size of a small soccer ball). We let our dog out in the morning and he was stung twice within minutes, I won't mention the "professionals" that were sent over to remove the nest. What is most concerning is we hadn't noticed the nest in 3 days and we had a small child (4) and older children playing back there. The thought of the 4 year old being stung multiple times....... In any case we haven't heard from the owner since the nest was "removed," no followup or sign of concern regarding the injury to our pet. He will be going to the vet tomorrow for a follow up. Very nice house, good location and we had a great time. By the way, check out time is 10 a.m. but the landscapers show up @ 8:30 so plan accordingly. show more show less

Wasp nest in tree:
We had absolutely no knowledge of a wasp nest, or it most certainly would have been removed. There are some things in nature that we have no control over and on Cape Cod there are many bees nests, bird nests, skunks, raccoons and coyotes. As soon as we were informed of the nest, it was removed.
Smoke detector and Futon:
Our cleaning crew are the last people in on Sat.and let us know of any issues. They must have forgotten to inform us of the smoke detector with no batteries and probably didn't even notice the futon.If the tenant had only notified us, it would have been taken care of immediately.
Landscaping and checkout:
Sat. mornings are our changeover day, and we have 7 houses that need to be cleaned, lawns mowed and rubbish picked up - all between the hours of 10:00 and 2:00. The landscapers try to get an early start in order to get all the lawns done. So it's unfortunate that the tenant was disturbed, but I think it's a situation most reasonable people would understand.
In closing I would only add that, with any summer rental properties, there are always issues that arise. We are very aware of that, and we ask in our welcome letter that guests please contact us so that we can address any issues for them as quickly as possible.show moreshow less

A Great Vacation

I rented this home for a month long family vacation. (June 2017) My fiance and I stayed the first week alone, and then the other family members came drifting in. My daughter and my mom and my fiance's mother and father all joined us :) Even my little dog, Brandy, came and she had a lovely vacation.

The house was incredible. The sleeping areas were on opposite ends of the house which was perfect, very private, and cozy. The house was fully equipped with everything from beach chairs to corkscrews to laundry detergent. We only brought our bed linens and personal towels. If you forget anything, however, the Dollar General is right at the end of Berry Avenue, as is CVS and the 99 restaurant. In fact, everything as far as services is very convenient. The beaches are within walking distance, albeit SeaGull Beach (very nice) is slightly over a mile to walk, so it could be a dicey hike if you were weighed down with beach "stuff."

I could go on and on touting the positive aspects of this rental and the very kind owners, but I think the best way to describe it is to urge you to just take your next vacation at this home. You will not regret it !

P.S. There are birds and bunnies galore in this neighborhood which we absolutely loved watching :) show more show less

Best Place to Vacation on Cape Cod Ever!!!

I'm very well traveled and have been everywhere from California to China and have stayed at some amazing places, but my trip to Cape Cod could be easily considered one of the most fascinating to date. In addition to all the Cape has to offer, my vacation to the Cape was highlighted by the house we rented, the FABULOUS renovation and large outdoor area, its close proximity to the beaches, Main Street Hyannis, the ferries to the Vineyard & Nantucket and an endless amount of restaurants to choose from in the Mid-Cape. This made our entire experience energetic and magnificent. The house is adorable. I will never forget the magic and scenic moments I shared with my family and friends in this fabulous location. My son learned to walk in the backyard!!!! Great home and memories!!!!

Stayed here last year, July 2013. Absolutely loved it!!! Just came on the website to book again this year and the week of August 23rd is booked!!! I am beyond disappointed!!! Hopefully next year!!! This home is beautiful, close to everything and so peaceful. Whoever is looking at this home to stay, don't hesitate..you won't be disappointed!!! Happy Summer :)
