Description

Waterfront property and private beach with swimming docks on scenic Bass River which abuts the Bass River Country Club! This shabby chic cottage boasts three bedrooms, two and 1/2 baths, sleeps 8. The beautiful kitchen has a cathedral ceiling with marble counters, gleaming hardwoods throughout with sliders to a blue stone patio, outdoor furniture and stainless steel Weber gas grill. The patio is adorned with perennials.

Walk out the front door, meander down a natural path where you will find a private salt water beach less than a two minute walk. The beach is located between two private docks perfect for fishing and swimming. In addition, you have access to three kayaks (two singles/one double) to use at your convenience! After a day at the beach, clean off with the outdoor shower. Cable and TV included along with the Wii for fun! This property abuts the Bass River Country Club and is just minutes away from the Cape Cod Rail Trail for biking. Also many family activities along Rte. 28 within driving distance. Before considering my home further, please note that this is a quiet, family-oriented area, and a security deposit will be required.

WOW

We have been renting summer vacation homes for years, and I have to say this home is by far my favorite. The inside of the home belongs in a magazine. Your first reaction when you walk in is "WOW." Every room is beautifully decorated in Cape decor, the furniture is beautiful and the kitchen is fully stocked with NICE dinner ware and cooking utensils. It certainly did not feel like we were in a "rental." Then there is the river. WOW........... We had two paddle boards and the use of their three kayaks. I never realized how beautiful the Bass River was. We paddled early morning and late afternoons and then sat on the dock many nights. The only thing I didn't like about this rental--we had to leave :( show more show less

Private Oasis

I grew up vacationing on the Cape and I have to say this is one of the most beautiful properties I've ever stayed at. This is not a cottage, it's a beautiful oasis. This is the perfect house for entertaining/vacationing with the big, beautiful kitchen and the amazing back yard right off of it. That's not even the best part! By walking down a short path, this house has its own private beach with docks and kayaks at your disposal. It's absolutely perfect for adults and kids. When we stayed there, the tide was low and my husband and I were able to kayak with our two boys out to the sandbar. They LOVED it! Absolutely will come back again.
