The Blue Door Cottage was exactly as described - well kept, well cared for, excellent location, and easy to find. The 2 bdrm, 1 bath was more sleeping area for just my husband and I, but the cottage was spacious and felt like being at home. All the amenities we needed - big internet users and comfy living area. The patio area was great - little cool for our stay, but we hope to make use of it on our next stay. Love the ability for the outdoor shower and the year was well cared for. We look forward to renting again if it's available. It's close to the beach and not too far from our favorite restaurants. show more show less

We had a wonderful week at the cottage! The home is just as described, very clean and a terrific kitchen with everything you need and more. The yard is gorgeous, with 2 sweet bunnies to visit each day, and the outdoor screened in porch was so nice for morning coffee. The bikes were great for riding to the nearby beach, and the owner generously allows borrowing of beach chairs which was so helpful! We went to a different beach each day, and the home located near many activities and restaurants. It had everything we needed and the owner was very accessible and helpful before we arrived, giving us a ton of info about the rental and the area with great spots to check out nearby. The home had everything we needed from ziploc bags and detergent to outdoor toys and beach gear. It was perfect for my husband, myself, our 2.5yo son and 5mo daughter, plenty of room for two pack n plays in one of the bedrooms, a big yard to run around in and a quiet neighborhood to take walks in. Highly recommend this home to rent! The only suggestion I may make is maybe a yearly beach pass to leave for renters to use as we had to pay for one for the nearby beach, but that could have been that we landed at one that happen to need it. Though we bought the week pass it was well worth it as we went 4 days to the beach and it would not deter us from renting this home again :) show more show less

We had a wonderful time on our vacation! Paul was very attentive answering quickly and giving wonderful advice. The outdoor shower was beautiful as were the outdoor spaces. Gorgeous hydrangeas and a yard perfect for my toddler to run around.
The house has everything you need for a perfect beach vacation! Bikes, coolers, chairs, even beach toys!
We will be back for sure!

The property is in a great location for restaurants, family attractions, the beach and to visit other parts of Cape Cod. The house is ideal for a family with a great backyard and Is pleasant to come home to after a day at the beach. The best part is the owners get it, they supply all the items you would want in a vacation rental all the way down to the beach chairs, cooler and bikes. I highly recommend this property, 5 stars all the way.

We loved our stay! The cottage is comfortable, clean and well stocked with everything you could need! Although close to the beach and restaurants, it's set in a quiet neighborhood. A beautiful yard and screened room complete the beauty of this cottage. Paul was easily reached for questions and was a wonderful host! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back!! We highly recommend the Blue Door Cottage!!

We had a wonderful week in Yarmouth. Paul's property is everything he claims it to be - and more. It is charming and cozy, very clean, and has everything you could need or want in a vacation rental. The house was a perfect fit for our family of four. We spent our evenings in the screened in porch after putting the kids to bed; and the living room was perfect for a rainy afternoon spent watching tv and playing games. The kids loved using the bikes in the garage for some rides around the neighborhood.

Paul was easy to communicate with and offered great suggestions for things to do and places to eat in the area. Thanks for a great week. We will be back! show more show less

My husband, my 23 month old twins and I just got home from our week stay at Paul's Blue Door Cottage. We had a fantastic time!

The house was so comfortable, with a beautiful kitchen and relaxing living area. The yard was amazing - so spacious and beautifully landscaped. Lots of room for our kids to run and play. We set up a small kiddie pool in the back and spent a lot of time chasing them around as they screamed in delight. The outdoor shower was a hit for everyone!

Every bit of attention to detail was paid - the home had all the essentials (cleaning supplies, washer/dryer, detergent, olive oil, coffee maker) PLUS tons of awesome extras (sand toys, bikes, a wagon, balls). Paul was also so gracious to coordinate with the woman from which we rented our cribs for delivery and set up. It was so great, because it was one less thing for us to worry about.

The beach is about a quarter mile away, and it's a nice walk. Each evening. we would walk the kids around the neighborhood, saying hi to all the dogs and even the resident pack of wild turkeys.

All in all, a great time. We highly recommend this lovely home and hope to be back next year. Thanks for everything, Paul!

This was our first visit to the blue door cottage, and we couldn't have been happier. On a muggy day, the cottage was beautifully cool when we arrived and 'clean as a whistle'. Everything throughout the cottage is first-rate (furnishings, appliances, amenities (including a large outdoor shower), and decor. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is unusually large for a cottage/smaller home. We enjoyed the 'open concept' and the awesome Cape breezes from the many windows. Although situated near Route 28, somehow this neighborhood was extremely quiet, while allowing us easy access to favorite restaurants and beaches. And the owner is a joy to communicate with; all questions were responded to very quickly. In all, a truly wonderful vacation spot! Thank you, Paul! show more show less
