Nestled into the northwest shore of the mid-Cape’s scenic Follins Pond, you’ll discover this unusual log cabin style, upscale vacation home. It’s almost like vacationing in Vermont and on the Cape -- all at the same time!

Location

This property is adjacent to Follins Pond. A saltwater pond area with direct access to Bass River and Nantucket Sound. A town boat launch is under a mile from this house. While the location is very private and quiet, you are only an eight-minute drive from several beautiful beaches on Cape Cod Bay.You’re the same distance from taste tempting restaurants along Route 6A, such as the Scargo Café, Inaho Japanese, and Grumpy’s for breakfast and lunch. For food and other shopping, it’s only nine minutes to Stop & Shop or Ring Brothers gourmet market in South Dennis.

Outdoor Living Spaces

Walk out from the main level to a large open deck which takes full advantage of the splendid water views, as does the delightful hot tub you’ll discover out here. There’s a big gas grill here, of course, and plenty of seating, including an umbrella shaded dining table and chairs for serving meals al fresco. The grounds are carefully landscaped and maintained, including a good-sized level lawn where kids can play safely. From the backyard or at the end of the road, you’ll find the perfect place to put in your kayak or SUP for a rewarding tour of Follins Pond. Enjoy!

Indoor Living Spaces

Probably half or more of the home’s 3,600 sq ft is beautifully devoted to its open concept core space, which feels even larger, thanks to the soaring vaulted ceilings featuring tall atrium windows and large skylights.

The fully equipped chef’s kitchen has it all, with granite counters, a big gas range and stainless appliances, including a wine fridge. There’s also counter seating for up to four. You’ll no doubt also enjoy the stand-alone bar with its own fridge, sink and stool seating for two.

The adjacent dining area easily seats up to eight and continues the very contemporary feel of this home’s interior. The kitchen and dining area flow into the expansive living room with plenty of comfortable lounge seating and panoramic views of the water.  After dark, the raised hearth, fieldstone gas fireplace provides another appealing focus, not to forget the large wall mounted TV.

Beds and Baths

The home offers four bedrooms, beginning with the king primary bedroom on the main level, which provides entrancing water views. Here you’ll find another wall mounted TV. The private en suite full bath presents a large Jacuzzi® tub and is nicely appointed with retro glass block privacy walls.

Walk upstairs to find some cozy loft lounge space and the other three bedrooms – another king, a queen and a second queen, this one with a private en suite full bath of its own. In all, the home has four full baths and 1 half bath.

This property has a seven-night minimum during the peak season. As is customary in vacation rentals there are additional fees to the rates listed. Those fees include a reservation fee and a non-refundable Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) fee totaling $195.
