Nestled among the tree-lined short private lane in the quaint South Dennis historic district is Sunset Serenade. You can only begin to imagine how elegant and truly special this house is going to be. Estate-like surroundings and expansive views of Bass River await you.

As you pull down the drive way the beauty of this historic home greets you warmly.   Enter through the side door into the large foyer/mud room. You will find ample closet space and a washer and dryer for your convenience. 

The custom-made wood island with four colorful leather stools is the first of many special features you will encounter. 

The dining room with table that seats six has sweeping water views.  The antique-style dutch door with original hardware will lead you out to the backyard and patio were you will have access to Bass River and its wildlife. A large dining table for outdoor dining and a L-shaped couch to lounge on to watch the boats glide by completes the patio area. 

The large kitchen with all modern amenities and historic charm is waiting for your favorite meal to be created.  Dine at the high top table with four stools. You will find a pantry next to the exposed fireplace bricks and door that leads into the expansive living room. 

In the living area, you will find two large couches and large flat screen TV for your entertainment. Grab a book from the built-in shelves and nestle in on the window bench where you will be torn between fantasy and reality. An assortment of games are in the built-in under stair cabinet with bench. The musician in the family will surely love to entertain all with the grand piano. 

Bedroom #1 - main level with a Queen bed, night stand, dresser, chair and two closets.
Ensuite Bathroom #1 with full stand up shower- **Note this ensuite bath is the only bath on the main level. 

On the upper level, you will see the rest of the sleeping areas:
Bedroom #2 on the left has two twin beds - with night stands, dresser and closet
Bedroom #3 with a Queen bed, build in drawers, dresser, night stand and closet 
Bedroom #4  has a queen bed, night stands, built in drawers, dresser, closet, and rocking chair

Sitting area with rocker and mini kitchenette are at the end of the hall
Bathroom # 2 is a full bathroom, newly updated with large stand up shower with glass doors in grey tile and hard wood floors

**A/C units can be moved for ultimate comfort - two for main level and three for upper level**

If you're longing for an ''Olde Cape Cod'' experience,  you will love this home. 

The two-car garage is available for your use - the remotes are on the table by side door. Do not take these home with you or you will be charged a replacement fee.

Guest Welcome Starter Bag Included:  A large reusable tote with: 2 rolls of toilet paper, tissues, hand soap, sponge, 2 trash bags, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, a roll of paper towels, laundry detergent and hand sanitizer (subject to change based on guest needs and marketplace availability). 

This home has Keyless Entry for your convenience.
No SMoking of anything containing tobacco, any other substance, and e-cigarettes, inside or outside of the home.
Pet Friendly Homes are for a dog only.  This home allows 1 dog.  With owner approval, a second dog may be considered for an additional $200 fee.  A Pet Registration form must be completed upon reservation confirmation.  
Max parking of cars at property: 3 - No parking on lawn anytime.
Fireplaces are only available for use in the winter months with advance approval from owner.

Departure cleaning is included with your reservation at no additional charge.
For Reservations made over 60 days away-you can make 2 payments-50% deposit with reservation and the final balance will be auto billed to your credit card 60 days prior to arrival.  We accept Mastercard and Visa for Payments.
A confirmed reservation is non refundable--please consider purchasing trip cancellation insurance.
