Updated, family-friendly cottage located on a quiet, dead end street. Living room has vaulted ceilings and baskets full of cozy blankets. The kitchen comes fully stocked with the basics like plates and silverware, and the not-so-basics like lobster pots, peelers and (good kitchen) knives, serving platters and drink pitchers for those who love to end a day at the beach with dinner at home on the deck. The dining room has seating for six, with sliding glass doors that open to the backyard leading to a sheltered fenced area with private access to the outdoor shower. The full bathroom has a large shower (no tub) and a hair dryer for guest use.
Off the kitchen is a deck with lounge seating and a dining table with chairs. It's a great lounge area for relaxing or barbecuing. In the kitchen you'll find a Bose all-weather speaker to bring out with you on the deck and instructions for connecting your phone to its Bluetooth signal. Our guests love the enclosed outdoor shower -- great for after a day at the beach. You will also have access to a shed filled with beach chairs, a beach mat, wheeled oversized cooler, and an all-terrain wagon to make beach days for families of all sizes a whole lot easier.
Our cottage comfortably sleeps 6 in two bedrooms; one with a queen bed, the other with two twin over twin bunk rooms. Unfortunately, due to the size of the bedrooms, we cannot accommodate guests who require the use of a travel crib or pack and play. However, families with littles in need of roll guards are welcome bring a portable, under mattress bedrail to contain their tiny humans. The bunk beds provide an enclosure on three of four sides and the travel rail may just do the trick for your family.
Bath towels, beach towels and linens are provided; bedding is fully laundered and each bed is made prior to our guests' arrival. There are spare linens, mattress covers, and blankets in an armoire, should they be needed. Our cottage comes with essentials like central air and heat, a full sized washer and dryer, a smart TV with upgraded cable, and super fast WiFi. We also have streaming services like Netflix, Hulu+, and Disney+ installed on the television and signed in with a ''Cape Guests'' profile so, even if you're not a subscriber, these streaming services are available to you during your stay.
While we may be biased, our cottage is in a phenomenal location — near Sea Street, Glendon Road and West Dennis Beaches. Don’t want schlep your own bikes or kayaks into town? The cottage is super close to Barbara’s Bike Shop and the Nickerson Bike Trail entrance and Cape Cod Waterways on Swan River where you can rent kayaks and drop right in on the river. Walking distance to Woolfie’s Bakery and Scoops Ice Cream. Two minutes by car to the main drag in Dennis Port. Easy to get everywhere, close to everything, but secluded on a dead end cul de sac with quiet privacy. It's literally the best.
We strongly encourage our guests to contact the Town of Dennis for a visitor's beach pass which will allow you to park at most Dennis beaches for a discounted rate. The cottage is a 2 minute drive to both Sea Street and Glendon Road Beaches, and is 3 miles from West Dennis Beach (another one of our favorites). If you prefer to walk, you can get to both Sea Street and Glendon Road Beaches in under 15 minutes.
Nearby activities include an inflatable park, go-karts, mini golf, and an abundance of great restaurants. Our cottage also comes stocked with board games, coloring books, light brites, cards games, and play doh to keep little ones busy on slow mornings and rainy days.
The cottage is stocked with a starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels, as well as garbage bags and paper bags for recyclables. We provide hand soap in the bathroom and kitchen, as well as dish soap and a fresh sponge should it be needed. We ask that guests launder any towels and blankets used prior to checking out, and accordingly we provide all of the detergents necessary for guests to be able to accommodate that request.

Cancellations:
If a reservation / lease is cancelled, all funds will be refunded ONLY if the cottage is able to be re-rented by the landlord for the same reservation period. There is no guarantee that a replacement tenant will be secured, though we will make every effort to secure a replacement for the entire term of the lease. If the premises must be re-rented for a lesser amount in order to secure a tenant for the reservation period, the difference between this rental and the lesser amount shall not be refunded.
