Fantastic Waterfront Home With a Dock West Dennis

We have been renting at 5 Starboard Way for 3 years now, and we will continue our two-week stay this summer as well. Over the past 20 years, we've rented at numerous locations along the Fingers, but none of them come close to this location.
First is the amazing ocean view. You can spend all your time just relaxing at the large field stone patio that sits right off the fully enclosed sunroom, enjoying a cup of coffee, and watching boats come and go from the West Dennis Yacht Club. It is so relaxing there we've often forgotten about going to the beach! On the patio is a gas grill that is directly piped to the house which eliminates the worry of running out of gas during evening grills. The grounds are immaculate and are always manicured and irrigated to maintain a beautiful green. Of course, there is an outdoor shower, but this one is tucked in the middle of the house so you can have some privacy. The dock can accommodate anything from several kayaks or paddle boards to a 24-foot boat, with easy access and egress to the open ocean. It is a very quiet location with the occasional children's laughter when they are visiting their grandparents' beach house. The neighbors on both sides are very friendly and have been the same ones for all the times we have visited.
There are two downstairs bedrooms, two downstairs bathrooms and a master bedroom on the third floor. Of course, all rooms are air conditioned for when you just need a short break from the warm weather. The master bedroom is massive with a private bath, adjacent living area, and access to a large exterior porch which we enjoy watching fireworks from at the end of the season.
The large kitchen has a wide countertop gas burner that accepts large pots and pans, a wall oven and ample counter space to accommodate meal preparations for large dinner parties. Cabinets are stocked with dishes, glasses, and utensils for I'd say at least ~20 guests. We often have evening dinners up on the large porch off the master bedroom on the second floor where there is a large teak table and chairs, enjoying a linguini and clam dinner, and a glass of wine while watching the sun slowly set. The only thing that I don't like about this rental is having to leave!

This is a great property. It is central to all of the restaurants and a short walk to the West Dennis beach. The home is very comfortable and spacious with all of the necessary amenities. The home has a deck perfect for watching the sun set. This will be our third year renting this house and it has additional space for family members.

This property has been our June home away from home for over 20 years. We love it here! The location is great with beautiful water views, a short walk to the beach, and a private dock. We always find the home to be very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It really is a great spot, one we look forward to visiting again this summer.
