In Dennis, known as ''the heart of Cape Cod,'' the Mermaid Cottage is a spacious, bright, and new post and beam cape with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It is just steps to a private beach area at Flax Pond and nature trails, and abuts conservation for privacy. The home is well-equipped to make your stay as enjoyable and carefree as possible. It is located and close to all attractions, ocean and bay beaches, golf, antiuqe shops, shopping, canoeing and their rentals available. The home provides wireless internet.

Memorial Day Weekend at Mermaid Cottage

My husband and I along with our 3 adult children stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend. We have been coming to the Cape a few times a year for over 30 years, and this house quickly became our favorite. No worries about linens, towels and the house was fully equipped for anything we would need. Louise was there when we arrived and was very friendly and informative. We cannot wait to come back!!

Mermaid Cottage was enchanting!

We stayed there for one week and absolutely loved it! The cottage is adorable with the mermaid theme, extremely clean, had a beautiful kitchen to cook in plus a porch with a grill for outdoor enjoyment! The pond was clean and warm while the woods surrounding were great for walking. The cottage was conveniently located for restaurants and entertainment! Louise is very sweet and helpful! Would return again!!

Mermaid Cottage

Our family has been going to the Cape over July 4th for many years. We usually stay with family. Recently, our families have grown, so we looked for our own rental property. We found the Mermaid Cottage, and from what we saw online, it was perfect for our family. There were 6 adults and 1 baby. We all had our own room, and the place was stocked with all the needed supplied, for adults and babies! The owners stopped by and were great. We will be renting this place, next year! Thanks.

Absolutely wonderful!!

We were a party of two families who came for a week to enjoy the Cape, and we have to say, Louise did a fabulous job providing a wonderful & comfortable home-away-from-home. We were pleasantly surprised at the amenities she had provided, from towels and bed linens to a well-equipped kitchen.

Our children especially loved the pond- they were swimming in it daily, sometimes two or three times a day! We also enjoyed the nature trail that takes you to the other side of the pond. />
This cottage is a close drive to everything, yet far enough away where you can enjoy the peacefulness of the neighborhood.

We all enjoyed our stay here, and cannot say enough good things about this cottage. We are currently looking into booking here again this year! show more show less
