Come stay at a traditional Cape Cod house!
The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, a few minute drive to supermarkets and stores, a 6 minute drive to Dennis Port and its restaurants and ocean side beaches, and a 10-15 minute drive to a wealth of world class bay side beaches such as Mayflower and Cold Storage. It's also a central Mid-Cape location that serves as a jumping off point to all destinations on the Cape, such as Chatham (20 min.), Truro (40 min.) and Provincetown (50 min.).
The house has 3 bedrooms, a living room, dinning room, and sun room. All of the furnishings, including beds, mattresses, dressers, couch, seats, etc., are brand new as of fall 2021 and spring 2022. The bedrooms provide one king, one queen, and two twin beds, and have one or two windows to let in plenty of natural light. The kitchen has an island with stools, and new amenities such as a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, etc. The back door leads to a large deck with ample space for cookouts and hanging out outside. The property also includes a large yard, and off-street parking.
As mentioned, the property is within walking distance of the Cape Cod Rail Trail, a 25.5-mile paved rail trail that passes through the towns of Yarmouth, Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham, and Wellfleet. Great for walking, biking, etc.
And, situated in a central mid-Cape location, there are plenty of options for beaches and sightseeing. The nearest ocean side beaches, such as Sea Street beach and West Dennis Beach are about 4 miles to the south, and the nearest bay side beaches, such as Mayflower Beach, are just 7 miles to the north. Create a list and check off all these beaches one by one! Each has a unique character.
Want to sample some Cape Cod/New England downtowns? Head to Chatham (about 20 min.) or Provincetown (about 50 min.) for a day of shopping, food and fun. Or need to get some more practical shopping done at a mall? Head to Hyannis (about 18 min.), where you can hit the mall and most stores you can think of.
Then come home, fire up the grill, and settle in for drinks and a movie! Up late? Head out to Dennis Port bars (8 min.), or just go outside and listen to the owls and breeze, and enjoy the stars, on the deck. read more show less
