The beautiful, antique Captains House has been updated. The home sleeps 13 in 5 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms. Set on a full acre of land with a spacious, level yard, it's also in the heart of Dennis with easy access to shops and restaurants.
The kitchen iis brand new.There is a large living room with two sofas, and a set of recliners. A separate dining room, a butlers pantry, and a screened in porch. Adjacent to kitchen is an additional bathroom with a shower. There is WiFi in the home and one flat screen smart television in the main living room. Other amenities include a dishwasher, washer/dryer, and BBQ grill - and linens are provided.

Bedrooms and baths:
Upstairs: king bedroom with master bathroom and tub. Queen Bedroom. Another queen bedroom with a twin bunk bed. Upstairs bathroom with shower.

Downstairs: full size bunk and twin size bunk room
with a baby’s crib. Dressing room next to it and bathroom adjacent to dressing room. Additional bedroom with twin bunk room. Bathroom with shower.

The back yard has a brand new patio and two new outdoor showers with dressing rooms. The back yard is fully fenced in with a basketball court.

The house is 1/2 mile from the beach. Dennis has 32 beaches. You are within walking distance of multiple restaurants, stores, ice cream,’pizza and much more. Very close to the bike trail.

    Great House for Multiple Families

    Cool house with plenty of room for 2+ families. Lots of bunk beds for kids. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Closest beach is a mile away. Laura's house was very clean and had all the necessary items including beach towels and some chairs. Big yard with basketball court too.

    The location was perfect

    Our family just spent a week staying at this fabulous property. The house was large enough so everyone had their own room. The location was perfect, near the West Dennis Public beach, Sundae School and stores. House had everything that we needed and the huge backyard was handy for the grandchildren to run around.

    Weather was great and we left with a week of great memories.

    Great home for large families

    Our family LOVES the Cape and has been coming for years so we've stayed in many rental homes. This was definitely one of our favorites. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a thoughtful and generous basket of goodies - local wines, coffee, tea, sparkling cider, etc. Such a nice surprise!

    The home is beautiful and decorated nicely with many new updates and renovations, yet still having an historical feel that was warm and inviting. The kitchen is brand new (and nicely equipped) as were the bathrooms. There was a cozy screened in porch and an amazingly large, fenced back yard with basketball court! Beds were plentiful and comfy! Having multiple bunk beds in rooms was perfect for our group of kids and teens. There was a small room in between 2 bedrooms that was a perfect dressing and makeup area for our glamour girls!

    Even though it's on Rte 28, you would never know once you stepped inside. The location was really perfect for us. We could walk to the small town and easily walked to the Wee Packet as well as mini golf. West Dennis Beach was an easy, quick drive and the SandBar was a great place for casual fare.

    The owner (Laura) was readily available for a small issue with the internet connection and took care of the problem quickly with no inconvenience to us. Our family ranging from ages 5 to 75 all had a fantastic time and loved this home!     show more show less

    What is special about this property?
    Love this house it has so much charm and history it once belonged to Captain Chase!

    The house has a huge enclosed back yard that is fenced in. It also has a basketball court and two outdoor showers. Wonderful for families.

    The home is so close to so many beaches in Dennis.

    You can walk to restaurants, mini golf and ice cream.

    What is special about your town?
    Dennis is centrally located on the cape.

    It has so many wonderful restaurants. Their are 32 beaches in Dennis!
