We are long time residents of Yarmouthport and vacationed here ourselves as children, so we are deeply rooted in the Cape and our community. We are new to the rental property business and have invested great care and consideration in our home so that we may provide our guests a comfortable, clean stay in this newly renovated property. We know what we like and expect when we travel and vacation, so we've created that environment in our vacation rental home. We live right next door so we are here if you have any concerns. We have raised our five children in this family oriented community. As a long time business owner (Tom) and a professional health care provider at the local hospital (Sharon), we are respectable members of our community.
What is special about this property?
This property has many modern features, but maintains a quaint, charming, vintage feel. The granite kitchen with farm house sink compliment the modern pub style dinning room seating. Graco highchair available. The mid-century modern decor of the living room works well with the glass-paned french doors, dental molding, ceiling medallion, and shuttered windows. Soft colors in the bedrooms will create a relaxing environment for sleep. And you'll feel like you're in a spa in the glass enclosed marbled shower with multiple shower heads in the second floor bathroom. Colorful and whimsical artwork flank the walls and there is a subtle but noticeable beachy/nautical vibe. The patio is brand new and a good place to relax after a day at the beach. The yard is professionally manicured.
What is special about your town?
Due to easy access to the mid-Cape highway, we are centrally located to all that awaits you on your Cape Cod vacation. North and South facing beaches are a short 10 or 15 minute drive. You can even bike or walk to nearby Grey's Beach, or to the Village Store (the 'Villy' as our kids have always called it) for some candy and a Slushy, and take your kids to the newly equipped playground just up the street. Grocery stores, convenience stores, and gas stations are all nearby. If you are a baseball fan, enjoy a Cape League baseball game at Dennis Yarmouth Regional High School just a short drive away where you might see a future major league star (Carlton Fisk, Nomar Garciaparra, Jason Varitek, and Jacoby Ellsbury to name a few - can you tell we are Red Sox Fans?!) There are many great restaurants nearby as well; one of our favorites is The Old Yarmouth Inn which is less than a mile up the road. Vacationers love to stroll the Main Streets of Hyannis and Chatham which are easy to get to, or you can make a day of it and drive to Provincetown about an hour away. Mini golf, the go-carts, and trampolines are a must, creating lifelong memories for you and your family. Recently added to our community is the Cape Cod Inflatable Park located on Rte 28 in West Yarmouth, an easy 10 minute drive. Bring your bikes to ride the Cape Cod Rail Trail. Yarmouthport and its surrounding villages is home to many year-rounders giving it that sense of community, and we welcome our summer visitors!
